Leak check · how it works
A leak is the clue. Your listings are the map.
Breaches expose emails and phone numbers. People-search sites connect those to your name, home address and family. This check shows both, in one private report.
- What does the leak check look at?
- Two things. First, people-search sites that could be publishing your home address, phone, email and relatives, found from your name and city. Second, when you add your email, known data breaches that include that email.
- Can you remove my data from a breach?
- No. Nobody can pull data back out of a breach that already happened. What you can do is change the affected passwords, turn on two-step sign-in, and remove the people-search listings that tie your leaked details to your home address. Those listings are what My Privacy Agent can request removal of.
- Is it free?
- Yes. The check and the report are free, with self-removal steps for each site. Patrol ($19.99/month, cancel anytime) is optional: agents file the eligible removal requests, re-check them, and show you which removals went through.
- Whose information can I check?
- Only your own. The check asks you to confirm you are searching for yourself.
