How to remove yourself from FastBackgroundCheck (2026 opt-out guide)
Guide content reviewed 2026-10-05
Reading current independent checks… See route evidence
Go to fastbackgroundcheck.com/optout (the older /removal link forwards there), say you are the person the request is for, enter your name and email, agree to the terms and pass the Cloudflare check. Then click the link FastBackgroundCheck emails you and finish the removal form. Independent guides say the link lasts 24 hours and removal takes about three days. A request here covers this site only.

Work through this with your agent
Give your agent the published steps, sources and read-only tools. It should check the current official process and ask before taking action.
Copies public guidance only. You still approve any request your agent submits.

Check if you are listed on FastBackgroundCheck
FastBackgroundCheck does not expose a stable public search URL we can prefill, so find your listing directly: open fastbackgroundcheck.com, search your full name plus your state (and previous states), and copy the URL of the record that is you. The opt-out form usually asks for that URL or the same name and location.
What FastBackgroundCheck typically shows
- Current and past home addresses
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Age or date of birth
- Names of relatives
- Neighbors
An exposure report can help organize candidate listings before you work through the site's official steps.
Remove yourself from FastBackgroundCheck
9 steps. Use the official site in a normal browser and follow its current instructions if a human check fails.
- 01
Find your listing first
Search your name on fastbackgroundcheck.com and note the exact spelling, city, age and relatives shown. Copy the listing's address from your browser. You will need these details to match the right record later, and the URL is useful if you have to email the site.
- 02
Open the official opt-out page
Go to fastbackgroundcheck.com/optout. When we loaded the older /removal address on October 5, 2026 it forwarded to /optout, titled "Opt-Out Request Start". Use a normal browser with no VPN, because the site runs a security check and may reject automated tools.
- 03
Say who the request is for
The form starts with an "I am" choice. Pick the option that says you are the person the record is about. Independent guides describe it as "the subject of this request". If you are filing for someone else, you should have their permission first.
- 04
Enter your name and email
Fill in First Name and Last Name, both required, and Middle Name if you want. Enter an email address you can open right now, because the next step depends on it. The form marks the email address as required.
- 05
Agree and pass the security check
Tick the agreement checkbox and complete the Cloudflare Turnstile check, which is what the form used when we loaded it on October 5, 2026. Older guides mention reCAPTCHA. If the check keeps failing, turn off VPNs and ad blockers and try again in a fresh window.
- 06
Click the link in the email
Open the email from FastBackgroundCheck and click its link. Independent guides say the link expires after 24 hours, so do not leave it. Check spam and promotions folders if it does not arrive within a few minutes. The link opens the second form.
- 07
Match your listing on the record form
Independent guides say the second form asks for details as they appear on your listing, such as name, email, city, state, ZIP and phone, and a date of birth or street address. Enter them accurately, tick any accuracy box and submit.
- 08
Confirm and save proof
You should see a confirmation page and receive a confirmation email. Screenshot the page and keep the email. If you appear under more than one name or email address, run the process again for each one.
- 09
Search again after three days
Search your name on FastBackgroundCheck after about three days. If the listing is gone, move on to the sister sites. If it is still live after a week, email support@fastbackgroundcheck.com with the listing URL and the date you filed.
What the FastBackgroundCheck opt-out page looked like when we checked
We loaded the opt-out page on fastbackgroundcheck.com on October 5, 2026 and it was up. The first screen asked for: am, First Name*, Middle Name, Last Name*. The page includes a Cloudflare Turnstile check.
This is a dated record of what our browser saw, not a removal. We never submit requests from this page.

What is FastBackgroundCheck?
FastBackgroundCheck is a free people-search site. You can search by name, phone number or home address and get a report with current and past addresses, age, relatives, phone numbers and email addresses. Independent reviews say its pages also carry sponsored links to other people-search sites.
You do not have to use the site to be in it. The listing is built from public-record and other third-party data sources, so it can exist without any action from you. An independent guide says the site draws on government databases, social media and court records.
What a FastBackgroundCheck listing can show
- Current and past home addresses
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Age or date of birth
- Names of relatives
- Neighbors
Who runs FastBackgroundCheck, and which sites one request covers
FastBackgroundCheck does not publish a parent company on the pages we could read. Contact details in our research notes list the phone number 888-747-4094 and a mailing address in Boulder, Colorado. Our research groups it with a family of people-search sites that use almost the same email-first opt-out, including TruePeopleSearch, FastPeopleSearch, SearchPeopleFree, AdvancedBackgroundChecks and USPhoneBook. A request here does not cover any of them, and each needs its own.
What is the fastbackgroundcheck.com opt-out removal process?
FastBackgroundCheck uses a two-step, email-first opt-out. Step one is a short form at fastbackgroundcheck.com/optout. When we loaded it on October 5, 2026 it asked who the request is for (an "I am" choice), first, middle and last name, an email address and an agreement checkbox, behind a Cloudflare Turnstile check. Step two starts when you click the link FastBackgroundCheck emails you. That opens the record form, and finishing it should bring a confirmation page and a confirmation email. Independent guides say the link is valid for 24 hours.
How long it takes
Our research notes record 24 to 72 hours, and independent guides say about three days. We could not read a published timeline on the site itself. Search again after three days. If your listing is still live after a week, email support@fastbackgroundcheck.com with the listing URL and the date you completed the second form, or call 888-747-4094. To confirm removal, search by name, phone number and home address.
FastBackgroundCheck opt-out problems and fixes
The Cloudflare check loops or the form will not submit
The form sits behind a Turnstile check. Turn off VPNs, ad blockers and privacy extensions, open a fresh browser window on your home or mobile network, and wait a few seconds before clicking. Try again later instead of refreshing repeatedly.
The verification email never arrived, or the link expired
Check spam, promotions and filtered folders, then wait a few minutes. Independent guides say the link lasts 24 hours, so if it has expired, restart from the first form. If it still does not come, email support@fastbackgroundcheck.com from the same address.
The record form cannot find me, or shows several people with my name
Match the name, city and age exactly as they appear on your listing, and do not remove someone else. Try spelling variants, a previous address or a nickname. If you appear more than once, file for each listing.
I was removed here but I am still on TruePeopleSearch or FastPeopleSearch
A FastBackgroundCheck request covers this site only. Each of its look-alike sites keeps its own copy and has its own form, so file a separate request on each one.
My listing came back
A returning listing usually means a new record was added from fresh public data, not that your first request was ignored. Search every two to three months and repeat the process. Keep the confirmation from your first request.
An old removal link or bookmark does not work
Use fastbackgroundcheck.com/optout. The older /removal address forwarded to it when we loaded it on October 5, 2026.

Subject: Opt-out and deletion request for my FastBackgroundCheck listing
Hello, Under applicable state privacy laws, including the CCPA where it applies, I request that FastBackgroundCheck delete my listing and stop selling or sharing my personal information. Name: [Full name] Email address: [Email] Location: [City, State] Listing URL: [Listing URL] Please confirm by email once the listing has been removed. Thank you.
After you opt out of FastBackgroundCheck
Keep the confirmation page and the confirmation email. FastBackgroundCheck keeps adding records from fresh data, so a new listing can appear after a move or a change of name. Search yourself every two to three months. Then clear the sister sites one by one: TruePeopleSearch, FastPeopleSearch, SearchPeopleFree and the rest of the family. Re-checking all of them on a schedule is what My Privacy Agent's Patrol plan automates.
Who does what for FastBackgroundCheck
The honest split, so nothing here reads as a promise we cannot keep.
What we handle
- Opening the official FastBackgroundCheck form pre-filled with your scan details.
- Tracking the request status after you complete the step only you can do.
- Re-checking fastbackgroundcheck.com before anything is marked removed.
What you must do
- Complete the step FastBackgroundCheck requires from you directly: a CAPTCHA, email confirmation.
- Open the confirmation email and click the link -- the request is not filed until you do.
- Pass the CAPTCHA or human check on the official site in a normal browser; follow that site's troubleshooting if it fails.
- Re-check fastbackgroundcheck.com after Our research notes record 24 to 72 hours, and independent guides say about three days. We could not read a published timeline on the site itself. Search again after three days. If your listing is still live after a week, email support@fastbackgroundcheck.com with the listing URL and the date you completed the second form, or call 888-747-4094. To confirm removal, search by name, phone number and home address. and repeat the process if the listing returns.
Realistic scope
This guide removes this one FastBackgroundCheck listing once you complete the step only you can do. It does not touch FastBackgroundCheck's other data products, other brokers that buy data from FastBackgroundCheck, or the public records the listing was built from -- those need their own opt-outs. Most people-search sites re-ingest data on their own schedule, so plan on re-checking fastbackgroundcheck.com every few months even after a successful removal.
My Privacy Agent opens the FastBackgroundCheck form and tracks the outcome.
FastBackgroundCheck requires a step only you can do (a CAPTCHA, email confirmation). After you authorize a mission, our agent opens the official form with your scan details, hands you that step, records the request as filed only when the site confirms it, and re-checks the listing before anything is called removed. If the site blocks the agent, you get the same instructions above instead of a fake status.
Current service availability and terms are listed on the pricing page. Nothing is marked removed before a provider or native action succeeds.
FastBackgroundCheck opt-out FAQ
Is FastBackgroundCheck legit, and is its opt-out safe to use?
It is a real people-search site, and fastbackgroundcheck.com/optout is its official opt-out route. When we loaded it on October 5, 2026 the form asked only for a name, an email address, an agreement checkbox and a security check. We did not submit a request. Do not pay anyone to file this for you, and be wary of any page that asks for more than the fields above.
How do I remove myself from FastBackgroundCheck?
Go to fastbackgroundcheck.com/optout, say you are the person the request is for, enter your name and email, pass the security check, then click the link in the email and complete the record form. Repeat for any extra listings.
How long does the FastBackgroundCheck opt-out take?
Our research record 24 to 72 hours, and independent guides say about three days. Search again after three days and email support@fastbackgroundcheck.com if the listing is still live after a week.
Does opting out of FastBackgroundCheck remove me from TruePeopleSearch and FastPeopleSearch?
No. They are separate sites with separate forms. Our research groups them in one family because the opt-outs work alike, but each keeps its own copy of your listing.
Why is my FastBackgroundCheck listing back?
The site keeps pulling in public and third-party data, so a fresh record can appear after you move or change names. It does not mean your first request failed. Search again and repeat the opt-out.
Do I have to pay or create an account to opt out of FastBackgroundCheck?
No. When we loaded the form on October 5, 2026 it asked only for a name, an email address and an agreement checkbox, with a security check. No payment or account was requested.
Where does FastBackgroundCheck get my address and relatives?
An independent guide says the site collects data from public sources such as government databases, social media accounts and court records. You did not give the site any of it, and being listed does not mean you were hacked.
Can I opt out of FastBackgroundCheck by email or phone?
You can email support@fastbackgroundcheck.com or call 888-747-4094. Our research list both. The two-step online form is the documented route, so use email as a fallback.
Does My Privacy Agent remove me from FastBackgroundCheck automatically?
FastBackgroundCheck requires a step only you can do (a CAPTCHA, email confirmation). After you authorize a mission, our agent opens the official form with your scan details, hands you that step, records the request as filed only when the site confirms it, and re-checks the listing before anything is called removed. If the site blocks the agent, you get the same instructions above instead of a fake status.

Review and change history
A content review or directory snapshot is reference history. A historical route observation does not establish submission, provider acceptance or removal, and does not establish a current working route. Current independent evidence has its own scope and expiry.
· Guide content reviewed against the published sources. This is the recorded review baseline; no earlier editorial change log is available.
· Historical route observation: reachable (HTTP 200). This describes only the page observed on that date; later steps and today's availability were not established by that observation.
Read current independent route evidence. That record reports its own scope, date, expiry and any gaps; this history does not renew verification.
