Pipl opt-out: how to remove your personal information
Use Pipl's official removal page (pipl.com/personal-information-removal-request): enter your name, email, the request type and a short message describing what to remove, then solve the human-verification check. Pipl says it may email you to verify, so watch your inbox over the next few days. When we loaded the form on October 5, 2026 it was up with a math-problem check and reCAPTCHA. You can also email privacy@pipl.com.

Remove yourself from Pipl
6 steps. Use the official site in a normal browser and follow its current instructions if a human check fails.
- 01
Decide exactly what you want removed
Pipl has no public search, so you cannot point at a profile URL. Instead, list the identifiers that belong to you: full name plus city and state, current and old email addresses, phone numbers and any usernames you want unlinked. The more precise you are, the easier Pipl can find the right records.
- 02
Open the official removal request page
Go to pipl.com/personal-information-removal-request. When we loaded it on October 5, 2026 the page was up and titled "Request Removal of Your Personal Information." You never need to pay, sign up or install anything to submit a removal.
- 03
Fill in the form
Enter your name and the email address you want Pipl to reply to — both are required. Pick the request type from the dropdown and write a short message describing what to remove, for example: your name, location, email addresses and phone numbers, with a request that Pipl suppress them from its services.
- 04
Solve the verification checks and submit
The form asks you to solve a simple math problem as a human check, and a reCAPTCHA also runs on the page. If either will not complete, turn off your VPN and privacy extensions and reload the page in a normal browser window before trying again.
- 05
Watch your email for verification
Pipl's removal page says the company may contact you directly by email to verify the request before processing it, and tells you to check your email over the next few days. Reply promptly from the same address if a verification message arrives.
- 06
Follow up if nothing happens
If you have heard nothing after about two weeks, email privacy@pipl.com with the date you submitted the form and the identifiers you listed, and ask for a status update or a confirmation that the records were removed.
What the Pipl opt-out page looked like when we checked
We loaded the opt-out page on pipl.com on October 5, 2026 and it was up. The first screen asked for: name, Email Address*, 00NUc000000TNu5, 00N4U000009AIoj. The page includes a reCAPTCHA check.
This is a dated record of what our browser saw, not a removal. We never submit requests from this page.

What is Pipl?
Pipl is an identity-data company. It started as a free people-search engine, but that public search was discontinued in June 2019; today Pipl sells access to its identity database to businesses, which use it for fraud detection, identity verification and investigations in insurance, e-commerce, financial services, legal work and government.
The database connects online and offline identifiers — names, email addresses, phone numbers, usernames and social handles — into single profiles built from what Pipl calls open-source, publicly available sources. There is no public search page anymore, so you cannot look yourself up the way you would on a people-search site. But your information can still sit in Pipl's index and be served to its business customers, which is why the company maintains a removal request form.
What a Pipl listing can show
- Names, aliases and usernames
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Home addresses and location history
- Social media profiles and handles
- Links between your identifiers and other people
Who runs Pipl, and which sites one request covers
Pipl is operated by Pipl, an independent identity-data company; it does not publish a parent company and is not part of a people-search network, so a Pipl removal covers Pipl only. Because Pipl sells to businesses rather than the public, the same identifiers will also appear in downstream fraud-prevention, marketing and people-data products that license similar feeds, and those need their own opt-outs. Pipl lists privacy@pipl.com for privacy requests.
What is the pipl.com opt-out removal process?
The pipl.com opt-out is a support-style request form. When we loaded it on October 5, 2026 it was titled "Request Removal of Your Personal Information" and asked for your name, email address, a request type and a message, with a math-problem human check plus reCAPTCHA before submitting. Pipl states it may follow up by email to verify the request and asks you to watch your inbox over the next few days. If the form fails, email privacy@pipl.com.
How long it takes
Pipl does not publish a processing time. Its removal page says to check your email over the next few days because it may need to verify the request directly, so treat a few days as the expected window and respond quickly to any verification email. If there is no response after about two weeks, follow up at privacy@pipl.com with your submission date and details.
Pipl opt-out problems and fixes
The form will not submit or the checks keep failing
The page combines a math-problem check with reCAPTCHA, which often fails behind VPNs, proxies or strict privacy extensions. Load it in a standard browser window with those off, and reload to get a fresh math problem.
I submitted but never heard anything
Check spam and promotions folders first — the verification email may be sitting there. If a week passes with nothing, email privacy@pipl.com quoting the date you submitted and the identifiers you provided.
Pipl emailed asking for more information
That is part of the normal verification step the removal page warns about. Reply from the same email address with only the details needed to locate your records, such as name, location and the specific emails or phones to remove.
I can't see what Pipl holds about me
The old public search was discontinued in 2019, so there is no self-serve lookup. Use the same form or an email to privacy@pipl.com to request access to your personal information before or alongside the deletion request.
My identifiers showed up again later
Pipl's index is rebuilt from public and open sources, so data you re-publish publicly can be re-collected. Repeat the removal request, and reduce what you expose publicly to lower the chance of re-listing.

Subject: Personal information removal request
Hello, Under applicable state privacy laws, including the CCPA where it applies, I request that Pipl delete my personal information from its services and stop processing or disclosing it. Name: [Full name] Location: [City, State] Email address(es) to remove: [Email] Please confirm by email once the removal is complete, and let me know if you need any further information to verify my request. Thank you.
After you opt out of Pipl
Keep a copy of your form message and any confirmation. Pipl serves business customers who may already hold older exports, so a removal stops new serving but cannot retract what was downloaded before. Because public sources keep feeding the index, re-check by repeating an access request every few months, and opt out of the people-search and B2B data sites that license similar feeds; that ongoing re-checking is what My Privacy Agent's Patrol plan automates.
Realistic scope
This guide explains how to request the action Pipl publishes for its own site. Reading the guide or sending a request does not establish completed removal. Other sites and original public records are separate; recheck the specific pipl.com page after the site's response and if the information appears again.
Not yet a filed-for-you target
This page documents Pipl's published privacy route. My Privacy Agent Patrol does not file this site automatically yet. An exposure check uses configured sources and does not confirm that this specific site is included.
Pipl opt-out FAQ
Is Pipl legit, and is its removal form safe to use?
Yes. Pipl is an established identity-data company whose customers include fraud, investigation and government teams, and its removal request page is the official, free opt-out channel. It may email you to verify the request; that is normal. Be cautious with third parties that charge to submit this free form for you.
How do I remove my personal information from Pipl?
Submit the official removal request form at pipl.com/personal-information-removal-request with your name, email, request type and a description of what to remove. Pipl may email you to verify before processing. Alternatively, email privacy@pipl.com with the same details.
Is the Pipl opt-out free?
Yes. The removal request form and the privacy@pipl.com email route are both free. Pipl's customers pay for data access, but exercising your privacy rights costs nothing.
How long does a Pipl removal request take?
Pipl does not publish a fixed timeline. Its removal page tells you to watch your email over the next few days for a possible verification message, so expect at least several days. If two weeks pass, follow up at privacy@pipl.com.
Can I search Pipl to see what information it has on me?
No. Pipl discontinued its free public search in June 2019 and now serves business customers only. To find out what Pipl holds, submit an access request through the same removal form or by emailing privacy@pipl.com.
Why does Pipl have my data if I never signed up?
Pipl builds profiles from what it describes as open-source, publicly available identity information: public records, websites, social profiles and similar sources. You do not need an account or any relationship with Pipl to appear in its index.
Does removing my data from Pipl remove it from people-search sites?
No. Pipl controls only its own index. The same identifiers are typically also in people-search and B2B data products, each of which requires its own opt-out request.

Review and change history
A content review or directory snapshot is reference history. A historical route observation does not establish submission, provider acceptance or removal, and does not establish a current working route. Current independent evidence has its own scope and expiry.
· Guide content reviewed against the published sources. This is the recorded review baseline; no earlier editorial change log is available.
· Historical route observation: reachable (HTTP 200). This describes only the page observed on that date; later steps and today's availability were not established by that observation.
Read current independent route evidence. That record reports its own scope, date, expiry and any gaps; this history does not renew verification.
