Affordable Background Checks opt out: use the InfoTracer removal route

Affordable Background Checks uses the InfoTracer opt-out system. The public page at infotracer.com/optout/ was reachable when we loaded it on October 5, 2026, but it is now information-only. The primary route is an email to privacy@infotracer.com; the stated turnaround is 45 days. A secondary members.infotracer.com/removeMyData portal uses a slide-to-verify human check. One request covers the listed InfoTracer-family sites.

Affordable Background Checks is operated by InfoTracer; opt-outs are handled at infotracer.com (https://infotracer.com/optout/).

Work through this with your agent

Give your agent the published steps, sources and read-only tools. It should check the current official process and ask before taking action.

Copies public guidance only. You still approve any request your agent submits.

Step by step

Remove yourself from Affordable Background Checks

7 steps. Use the official site in a normal browser and follow its current instructions if a human check fails.

  1. 01

Find the record you want suppressed

Search Affordable Background Checks or the relevant family site by your name and location. Save the page address and note which details identify you. Based on available information, you would typically search by name, state and city before selecting a record, but the current family approach treats the InfoTracer opt-out page as information-only.

  2. 02

Open the InfoTracer opt-out information page

Start at infotracer.com/optout/ and confirm that the page is on the InfoTracer domain. When we loaded it on October 5, 2026, it was reachable with the title \"Opt Out - InfoTracer.com.\" Do not assume that an informational page itself filed a request; use the current email or portal route described below.

  3. 03

    Use the primary privacy email

Send the opt-out request to privacy@infotracer.com. State that the record appears through Affordable Background Checks, include your full name, city and state, email and listing URL, and ask InfoTracer to suppress the associated family records. Keep the sent message and any reply. The stated turnaround is 45 days.

  4. 04

Use the secondary member portal if needed

The family note also identifies members.infotracer.com/removeMyData as a secondary route. It is protected by a custom slide-to-verify bot check that a human can clear. Complete that check in a normal browser, then follow the portal's current instructions. Do not treat access to the portal as proof that a request was submitted.

  5. 05

    Review the scope before sending

One route covers the listed InfoTracer-family white-labels. Check that the site where you found the record is in the covered list on this page. SearchUSApeople.com is in the same operator family but not in the same-parent covered list, so submit a separate request for it.

  6. 06

    Keep evidence of the request

Save the email sent to privacy@infotracer.com, any reply, the listing URL and the date. If the member portal displays a confirmation or reference number, save that too. We checked route reachability but did not submit a request, so there is no provider receipt from this guide.

  7. 07

Wait 45 days and recheck the family

The family states a 45-day turnaround. After that period, search the original Affordable Background Checks result and the other covered domains. If a result remains, follow up with the original evidence and ask InfoTracer to identify the missing identifier or site.

What is Affordable Background Checks?

Affordable Background Checks is a people-search and public-record search site in the InfoTracer family. The family includes state-specific arrest and warrant sites and other public-record brands. A search can connect a name with address details, contact information and records associated with arrests, warrants, property or other public sources.

This is not an independent removal system. infotracer.com is the parent company, and the family uses a shared suppression approach. The public InfoTracer opt-out page is now informational, while the primary process is a privacy email and the secondary process is a member portal. The request is meant to suppress the family's records; it does not alter the underlying court or government record and it does not automatically clear unrelated people-search services.

What a Affordable Background Checks listing can show

  • Names and address information
  • Phone and other contact details
  • Arrest-related records
  • Warrant and court-record information
  • Property information
  • Relatives and associated people
  • Public-record search results

Who runs Affordable Background Checks, and which sites one request covers

Affordable Background Checks is listed as an InfoTracer parent-domain entry. infotracer.com is the parent, privacy@infotracer.com is the primary suppression contact and members.infotracer.com/removeMyData is the secondary portal. One route covers the listed arrests.org-style white-labels. SearchUSAPeople.com is in the same operator family, but not in the same-parent sister-site list, so treat SearchUSApeople as a separate request.

Same request also covers: alabamaarrests.org, alaskaarrests.org, arizonaarrests.org, arkansasarrests.org, coloradoarrests.org, ctarrests.org, dcarrests.org, dewarrants.org, flarrests.org, georgiaarrests.org, govwarrantsearch.org, hawaiiarrests.org, idahoarrests.org, illinoisarrests.org, indianaarrests.org, iowaarrests.org, kansasarrests.org, kentuckyarrests.org, louisianaarrests.org, maarrests.org, mainearrests.org, marylandarrests.org, michiganarrests.org, minnesotaarrests.org, missouriarrests.org, montanaarrests.org, msarrests.org, ncarrests.org, ndarrests.org, nebraskaarrests.org, nharrests.org, njarrests.org, nmarrests.org, nyarrests.org, ohioarrests.org, oklahomaarrests.org, oregonarrest.org, pennsylvaniaarrests.org, riarrests.org, scarrests.org, sdarrests.org, tennesseearrests.org, texasarrests.org, usrecords.net, uswarrants.org, utaharrests.org, virginiaarrests.org, vtarrests.org, washingtonarrests.org, wisconsinarrests.org, wvarrests.org, wyomingarrests.org

What is the affordablebackgroundchecks.com opt-out removal process?

The removal process runs through InfoTracer rather than a form hosted on affordablebackgroundchecks.com. When we loaded infotracer.com/optout/ on October 5, 2026, it was reachable and titled \"Opt Out - InfoTracer.com\"; that page is now information-only. The primary route is privacy@infotracer.com with a stated 45-day turnaround. The secondary members.infotracer.com/removeMyData portal uses a custom slide-to-verify check. One route covers the listed white-label sites.

How long it takes

InfoTracer gives a 45-day turnaround for the primary privacy-email route. Treat that as the stated handling window, not proof that every page has updated. Keep the sent email, replies and any portal confirmation. Recheck Affordable Background Checks and the covered family sites after 45 days. SearchUSApeople.com is in the same-operator-family but is not included in the same-parent covered list.

If it does not work

Affordable Background Checks opt-out problems and fixes

The InfoTracer opt-out page only explains the process

That is expected under the current family note. It says infotracer.com/optout/ is now information-only. Use privacy@infotracer.com for the primary request or the members.infotracer.com/removeMyData portal as the secondary route, and keep your own submission evidence.

The slide-to-verify check will not clear

Use a normal browser with scripts enabled and move the slider as the portal requests. Try a fresh session if it loops. A successful human check only opens the portal; it does not prove that the removal request was filed or accepted.

I cannot find my exact listing URL

Include the site name, your full name, city and state, and any other identifying detail that you recognize in the privacy email. Search the original site again and save the result address if it appears. Do not send another person's information to create a match.

My record still appears after 45 days

Search the original result and each covered family site, then compare the identifiers in your sent email with the listing. Follow up at privacy@infotracer.com with the original date and URLs. Ask whether a new or differently formatted identifier needs a separate suppression request.

I expected SearchUSApeople.com to be included

SearchUSApeople.com is in the same operator family, but not in the same-parent sister-site list for this route. Treat it as a separate opt-out and do not infer coverage from the InfoTracer family relationship alone.

A court or government record remains online

The InfoTracer-family request targets the broker's own display and suppression records. It does not alter the underlying court, warrant, property or government record, and it does not control copies held by unrelated services.

Subject: Request to opt out of Affordable Background Checks and InfoTracer records

Hello,\n\nUnder applicable state privacy laws, including the CCPA where it applies, I request that InfoTracer delete the personal information associated with my Affordable Background Checks record and opt me out of the sale or sharing of my personal information. Please apply the request to the covered InfoTracer-family records associated with these identifiers.\n\nName: [Full name]\nEmail: [Email]\nLocation: [City, State]\nListing URL: [Listing URL]\n\nPlease confirm by email when you have processed this request.\n\nThank you.

After you opt out of Affordable Background Checks

Keep the privacy email, provider reply, portal confirmation and the list of domains you checked. The family can refresh records or display a new match when an identifier changes, so recheck the covered sites after a move, name change or new public record. Handle SearchUSApeople.com and unrelated people-search services separately. My Privacy Agent can organize eligible re-checks, but InfoTracer controls its own response and timing.

Common questions

Affordable Background Checks opt-out FAQ

Is Affordable Background Checks part of a legitimate opt-out network?

Affordable Background Checks is part of the InfoTracer family and has an InfoTracer opt-out page, privacy email and member portal. Use the official InfoTracer routes, confirm the domain before entering information and keep your own evidence. Do not pay a third party or treat a public information page as a removal receipt.

How do I remove my information from Affordable Background Checks?

Use the InfoTracer route: read infotracer.com/optout/, then email privacy@infotracer.com or use the secondary member portal at members.infotracer.com/removeMyData. Include your identifying details, keep the evidence and allow the stated 45-day window.

Does the InfoTracer opt-out cover other arrest-record sites?

One route covers the listed InfoTracer-family white-labels. The covered list on this page contains the sibling domains. SearchUSApeople.com is in the same operator family but not as a same-parent covered site, so treat it separately.

How long does the Affordable Background Checks opt-out take?

The InfoTracer family note states 45 days for the primary privacy-email route. Recheck after that window and keep the sent email or portal confirmation. If the record remains, follow up with the original URLs and identifiers.

Why is the InfoTracer opt-out page only informational?

Based on current information, infotracer.com/optout is now information-only. The primary route is privacy@infotracer.com, with a secondary member portal behind a custom slide-to-verify check.

What should I do if the InfoTracer slider will not work?

Use a normal browser with scripts enabled, try a fresh session and complete the custom slide-to-verify check. If it remains unavailable, use the primary privacy email. A cleared slider is access to the portal, not proof of provider acceptance.

Does this request remove the underlying court or property record?

No. It targets Affordable Background Checks and the covered InfoTracer-family displays. It does not change a court, warrant, property or government record, and unrelated data brokers may still hold their own copies.

Who runs Affordable Background Checks, and which sites one request covers

Review and change history

A content review or directory snapshot is reference history. A historical route observation does not establish submission, provider acceptance or removal, and does not establish a current working route. Current independent evidence has its own scope and expiry.

  1. · Guide content reviewed against the published sources. This is the recorded review baseline; no earlier editorial change log is available.

  2. · Historical route observation: reachable (HTTP 200). This describes only the page observed on that date; later steps and today's availability were not established by that observation.

Read current independent route evidence. That record reports its own scope, date, expiry and any gaps; this history does not renew verification.
