How to remove yourself from IDCrawl (2026 opt-out guide)
Guide content reviewed 2026-10-05
Reading current independent checks… See route evidence
Find the IDCrawl page that is you, copy its URL, and paste it with your email address into IDCrawl's official removal form at idcrawl.com/remove-my-information. IDCrawl then emails a verification link, and clicking it completes the request. It is free and needs no account, ID or phone number. IDCrawl does not publish a processing time, so re-search after about a week and repeat for any other pages about you.

Work through this with your agent
Give your agent the published steps, sources and read-only tools. It should check the current official process and ask before taking action.
Copies public guidance only. You still approve any request your agent submits.

Check if you are listed on IDCrawl
IDCrawl does not expose a stable public search URL we can prefill, so find your listing directly: open idcrawl.com, search your full name plus your state (and previous states), and copy the URL of the record that is you. The opt-out form usually asks for that URL or the same name and location.
What IDCrawl typically shows
- Your name and any usernames tied to it
- Links to public social media profiles
- Publicly shared photos and posts
- Phone numbers and email addresses
- Mailing addresses and age
- Public-record details the site advertises, such as court or property records
An exposure report can help organize candidate listings before you work through the site's official steps.
Remove yourself from IDCrawl
8 steps. Use the official site in a normal browser and follow its current instructions if a human check fails.
- 01
Search IDCrawl for every page about you
Search idcrawl.com by your name, then by your usernames, phone number and email address. IDCrawl builds pages per person and per username, so one search can miss some. Open each result that is really you and note it, because every page needs its own request.
- 02
Copy the page URL
Copy the full address from your browser's address bar while you are on the IDCrawl page that lists you. The removal form asks for this URL, not your name. The form also has a "What is this?" help link that shows where the URL comes from if you are unsure.
- 03
Open the official removal page
Go to idcrawl.com/remove-my-information, the "Remove my info" link in the IDCrawl footer. Check the address bar shows idcrawl.com before you type anything. You never need to pay, sign in, upload ID or give a phone number to opt out.
- 04
Paste the URL and enter your email
The form has two required fields: "IDCrawl Page URL" and "Email Address". Use an email address you can open right now. Many people use an alias so the confirmation is not tied to their main inbox. The submit button is labeled "Submit".
- 05
Pass the bot check if one appears
Our September 16, 2026 read of the page saw no CAPTCHA, but when we loaded it on October 5, 2026 our check detected a reCAPTCHA. Use a normal browser without a VPN or script blocker. If the box keeps looping, try another browser or a fresh window.
- 06
Click the verification link
Open the email from IDCrawl and click the link. Nothing is completed until you do. The message can land in spam or promotions, so check there. If it has not arrived after a few minutes, submit the form once more rather than several times.
- 07
Repeat for each additional page
Do steps 2 to 6 again for every other IDCrawl page that lists you, including username pages. Then look at the original source: IDCrawl's policy says removal does not change the social profile or web page it came from, so tighten privacy settings there too.
- 08
Re-search after a week
Search your name, usernames, phone number and email again after about seven days. If a page is still live, email support@idcrawl.com with the page URL and the date you clicked the verification link. Keep the confirmation email as your record.
What the IDCrawl opt-out page looked like when we checked
We loaded the opt-out page on idcrawl.com on October 5, 2026 and it was up. The page includes a reCAPTCHA check.
This is a dated record of what our browser saw, not a removal. We never submit requests from this page.

What is IDCrawl?
IDCrawl describes itself as a free people-search engine. You can search it by name, username, phone number or email address, and it assembles the results into pages about a person. Its home page says it indexes more than 50 data sources, including social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube, along with contact details and public records.
IDCrawl's privacy policy says it indexes publicly available information, such as public social media, web pages and accessible government and business records, and that it does not get around technical controls to reach non-public content. You do not need an account, or any relationship with the site, to be listed. A page can appear simply because your name, username or public profile links were found elsewhere. Because pages can be built around usernames as well as names, one person can end up with several IDCrawl pages.
What a IDCrawl listing can show
- Your name and any usernames tied to it
- Links to public social media profiles
- Publicly shared photos and posts
- Phone numbers and email addresses
- Mailing addresses and age
- Public-record details the site advertises, such as court or property records
Who runs IDCrawl, and which sites one request covers
IDCrawl's privacy policy names IDCrawl LLC as the operator and lists support@idcrawl.com as the contact for privacy requests. The site does not publish a parent company or a family of sister sites, and our research shows no other domains covered by an IDCrawl removal. The policy also says removing information from IDCrawl does not remove it from the original source, so an IDCrawl removal only deals with IDCrawl.
What is the idcrawl.com opt-out removal process?
The idcrawl.com removal process is a short form plus an email confirmation. You first find the IDCrawl page about you and copy its URL. On the removal page you paste that URL, enter an email address and submit. IDCrawl then emails a verification link, and clicking it is what completes the request. When we loaded the page on October 5, 2026 it opened normally and our check detected a reCAPTCHA, so expect a possible "I'm not a robot" step. No account, ID or payment is needed.
How long it takes
The removal page states no processing time. Our earlier research estimated roughly 3 to 7 days after you click the verification link, but treat that as an estimate rather than a commitment. IDCrawl's privacy policy gives 45 days in California for privacy-rights requests, extendable where the law permits. Re-search after a week. If the page is still showing after two weeks, email support@idcrawl.com with the page URL and the date you verified.
IDCrawl opt-out problems and fixes
I cannot find the URL of my page
Search by username, phone number and email as well as your name, since IDCrawl indexes all of them. Open the result and copy the address from the browser bar. Use the "What is this?" help link on the removal form if you are unsure which address to copy.
The verification email never arrived
Check spam, promotions and any filtering rules, then resubmit once. If it still does not come, email support@idcrawl.com from the same address with the page URL and ask them to process the removal.
The form will not submit or the CAPTCHA keeps looping
Turn off your VPN, ad blocker and script blockers for idcrawl.com, or try another browser. Our September 16, 2026 read of the page saw no CAPTCHA, but our October 5, 2026 check detected a reCAPTCHA, so the check may come and go.
One page is gone but another one still shows me
Each page has its own URL and needs its own request. Search every username and email address you have used, then submit a new request for each page that still appears.
My IDCrawl page came back months later
IDCrawl keeps crawling public sources, so a new page can be generated. Submit the removal again and keep your first confirmation email. Making the source profile private also stops the page being rebuilt from it.

Subject: Removal and privacy request for my IDCrawl page
Hello, Under applicable state privacy laws, I request that IDCrawl delete the personal information it holds about me and stop selling or sharing it. Name: [Full name] Email address: [Email] Location: [City, State] IDCrawl page URL: [Listing URL] Please confirm by email once the page has been removed. Thank you.
After you opt out of IDCrawl
Removing a page only affects IDCrawl. The social profiles and web pages it linked to are unchanged, and other people-search sites hold their own copies of your address and phone number. Re-check IDCrawl every few months, because crawling can recreate pages, and search your usernames as well as your name. Work through related people-search sites such as Spokeo, ThatsThem and FamilyTreeNow next. Re-checking all of them on a schedule is what My Privacy Agent's Patrol plan automates.
Who does what for IDCrawl
The honest split, so nothing here reads as a promise we cannot keep.
What we handle
- Opening the official IDCrawl form pre-filled with your scan details.
- Tracking the request status after you complete the step only you can do.
- Re-checking idcrawl.com before anything is marked removed.
What you must do
- Complete the step IDCrawl requires from you directly: a CAPTCHA, email confirmation.
- Open the confirmation email and click the link -- the request is not filed until you do.
- Pass the CAPTCHA or human check on the official site in a normal browser; follow that site's troubleshooting if it fails.
- Re-check idcrawl.com after The removal page states no processing time. Our earlier research estimated roughly 3 to 7 days after you click the verification link, but treat that as an estimate rather than a commitment. IDCrawl's privacy policy gives 45 days in California for privacy-rights requests, extendable where the law permits. Re-search after a week. If the page is still showing after two weeks, email support@idcrawl.com with the page URL and the date you verified. and repeat the process if the listing returns.
Realistic scope
This guide removes this one IDCrawl listing once you complete the step only you can do. It does not touch IDCrawl's other data products, other brokers that buy data from IDCrawl, or the public records the listing was built from -- those need their own opt-outs. Most people-search sites re-ingest data on their own schedule, so plan on re-checking idcrawl.com every few months even after a successful removal.
My Privacy Agent opens the IDCrawl form and tracks the outcome.
IDCrawl requires a step only you can do (a CAPTCHA, email confirmation). After you authorize a mission, our agent opens the official form with your scan details, hands you that step, records the request as filed only when the site confirms it, and re-checks the listing before anything is called removed. If the site blocks the agent, you get the same instructions above instead of a fake status.
Current service availability and terms are listed on the pricing page. Nothing is marked removed before a provider or native action succeeds.
IDCrawl opt-out FAQ
Is IDCrawl legit, and is its opt-out form safe to use?
IDCrawl is a real people-search engine, and its privacy policy names IDCrawl LLC as the operator. The removal form at idcrawl.com/remove-my-information is its official opt-out. It asks only for your page URL and an email address, with no ID, payment or account. Do not pay any third-party site that offers to remove you from IDCrawl; the official route is free.
How do I remove myself from IDCrawl?
Copy the URL of your IDCrawl page, then paste it with your email address into the form at idcrawl.com/remove-my-information. Click the verification link IDCrawl emails you to complete the request. It is free and needs no account.
Is the IDCrawl opt-out free?
Yes. The removal form and the support@idcrawl.com email route are both free. You never need to buy a plan or pay a removal service to take your page down.
How long does the IDCrawl opt-out take?
IDCrawl does not publish a processing time on the removal page. Re-check after about a week. Its privacy policy allows up to 45 days in California for privacy-rights requests, so follow up by email if a page is still live after two weeks.
Why is my IDCrawl page back after I removed it?
IDCrawl keeps crawling public sources, so a new page can be built from the same social profile or username. Remove the new page the same way and make the source profile private so it cannot be rebuilt.
Does removing my IDCrawl page delete my social media accounts or posts?
No. IDCrawl says removal does not remove information from the original source. Your accounts, posts and photos stay where they are. Change privacy settings on those accounts to limit what IDCrawl can index.
Does opting out of IDCrawl remove me from Spokeo or ThatsThem?
No. IDCrawl is not part of a larger people-search network, and each of those sites runs its own removal. You need a separate request for Spokeo, ThatsThem and every other site that lists you.
Can I opt out of IDCrawl without finding my page first?
The form needs your page URL, so searching first is the usual route. If you cannot find the page, email support@idcrawl.com with your name and the usernames or contact details you want removed and ask what they can do.
Does My Privacy Agent remove me from IDCrawl automatically?
IDCrawl requires a step only you can do (a CAPTCHA, email confirmation). After you authorize a mission, our agent opens the official form with your scan details, hands you that step, records the request as filed only when the site confirms it, and re-checks the listing before anything is called removed. If the site blocks the agent, you get the same instructions above instead of a fake status.

Review and change history
A content review or directory snapshot is reference history. A historical route observation does not establish submission, provider acceptance or removal, and does not establish a current working route. Current independent evidence has its own scope and expiry.
· Guide content reviewed against the published sources. This is the recorded review baseline; no earlier editorial change log is available.
· Historical route observation: reachable (HTTP 202). This describes only the page observed on that date; later steps and today's availability were not established by that observation.
Read current independent route evidence. That record reports its own scope, date, expiry and any gaps; this history does not renew verification.
