How to remove yourself from ThatsThem (2026 opt-out guide)
Guide content reviewed 2026-10-05
Reading current independent checks… See route evidence
Use the official form at thatsthem.com/optout. Enter your full name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, email and phone number exactly as they appear on the listing you want gone, pass the bot check, and click "Submit Opt-Out Request". ThatsThem says to file a separate request for each record, and that removal from its public search can take 5 to 7 days. There is no account and no fee.

Work through this with your agent
Give your agent the published steps, sources and read-only tools. It should check the current official process and ask before taking action.
Copies public guidance only. You still approve any request your agent submits.

Check if you are listed on ThatsThem
ThatsThem does not expose a stable public search URL we can prefill, so find your listing directly: open thatsthem.com, search your full name plus your state (and previous states), and copy the URL of the record that is you. The opt-out form usually asks for that URL or the same name and location.
What ThatsThem typically shows
- Full name, age and current and past addresses
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- IP addresses, which the site lets visitors search by
- Vehicle details
- Home valuation and household details
- Financial and lifestyle information the site advertises, such as income, net worth and interests
An exposure report can help organize candidate listings before you work through the site's official steps.
Remove yourself from ThatsThem
8 steps. Use the official site in a normal browser and follow its current instructions if a human check fails.
- 01
Search ThatsThem for every record about you
Search thatsthem.com by your name, then by each phone number and email address you use. Open every listing that is really you. Listings keyed to a phone number or email can exist separately from a name-based listing, and each one needs its own request.
- 02
Copy the details exactly as listed
Note the name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, email and phone number as they appear on the record you want removed. The opt-out page says it asks for these so it can process the correct record, so match the listing, not a newer address of yours.
- 03
Open the official opt-out page
Go to thatsthem.com/optout and check the address bar shows thatsthem.com. When we loaded it on October 5, 2026 it needed no login, no ID upload and no payment. Use a normal browser without a VPN, which can trigger extra bot checks.
- 04
Fill in all seven fields
Enter Full Name, Street Address, City, State, ZIP Code, Email and Phone. All seven were marked required when we loaded it. Use an email address you can open, because ThatsThem sends a confirmation email after it processes the request rather than a link you must click first.
- 05
Pass the bot check and submit
Complete the verification widget, then click "Submit Opt-Out Request". Our September 16, 2026 inspection found Cloudflare Turnstile on the form, while our October 5 check labeled it reCAPTCHA. Either way, scroll down on a phone, because the widget is easy to miss above the button.
- 06
Repeat for each additional record
ThatsThem says to submit separate requests per record. Run the form again for each listing, using the details on that listing. A record with a different phone number or email address counts as a different record, even if the name is the same.
- 07
Confirm it worked
Look for the confirmation email. Then search ThatsThem again for your name, each phone number and each email address after about a week. If a listing is still live, email optout@thatsthem.com with the listing URL and the date you submitted.
- 08
Ask search engines to refresh
ThatsThem says search engines may take longer than 5 to 7 days to drop a result and that this is outside its control. If a search result still shows your details after the listing is gone, use the search engine's own outdated-content removal tool.
What the ThatsThem opt-out page looked like when we checked
We loaded the opt-out page on thatsthem.com on October 5, 2026 and it was up. The first screen asked for: Full Name *, Street Address *, City *, State *. The page includes a reCAPTCHA check.
This is a dated record of what our browser saw, not a removal. We never submit requests from this page.

What is ThatsThem?
ThatsThem is a free people-search site. You can look someone up by name, phone number, email address or IP address, and the results combine contact details with household and lifestyle data. Its home page says it pulls from more than 50 sources, each updated monthly.
You do not sign up to be listed. Records are assembled from sources the site does not name, so a listing can show a current address, an old phone number or an email address you used years ago. Because it can be searched by phone number, email address or IP address, a single record can be found from several starting points. The opt-out removes records from ThatsThem's public search only.
What a ThatsThem listing can show
- Full name, age and current and past addresses
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- IP addresses, which the site lets visitors search by
- Vehicle details
- Home valuation and household details
- Financial and lifestyle information the site advertises, such as income, net worth and interests
Who runs ThatsThem, and which sites one request covers
ThatsThem does not name the company behind it on its home page, its opt-out page or the pages we could read, and our directory data shows no parent company. We have not found sister sites that share its opt-out, so a ThatsThem removal covers ThatsThem only. The opt-out contact is optout@thatsthem.com. Because the operator is not published, do not assume a removal here carries over to similar sites; the page itself warns your information may still be visible on other people-search sites.
What is the thatsthem.com opt-out removal process?
The thatsthem.com removal process is one web form with no verification link to click. You fill in the name, address, email and phone number that appear on the record you want removed, pass a bot check and submit. When we loaded the page on October 5, 2026 it showed seven required fields: Full Name, Street Address, City, State, ZIP Code, Email and Phone. ThatsThem says you must file a separate request for each record, and that removal from its public search may take 5 to 7 days.
How long it takes
The opt-out page says removal from ThatsThem's public search may take 5 to 7 days, and that search engines can take longer to drop old results. Our September 16, 2026 notes on the form also record a 72-hour processing window, with a confirmation email afterward. In practice, re-search after a week. If the listing is still live after about ten days, email optout@thatsthem.com with the listing URL and your submission date.
ThatsThem opt-out problems and fixes
The submit button does nothing or the bot check will not load
Turn off your VPN, ad blocker and script blockers for thatsthem.com, then reload in a fresh window or another browser. On a phone, scroll down: the verification widget can sit just above the button and be easy to miss.
I do not want to hand over my phone number and address
The form marks all seven fields required and says they are needed to identify the right record. Use the details exactly as they appear on the listing. If you would rather not use the form, email optout@thatsthem.com, which our directory data lists as its opt-out contact.
The listing is gone but a phone-number or email listing remains
Records are separate. Search ThatsThem by every phone number and email address you have used, and submit a new request for each record that still appears, using the details shown on that listing.
A search engine still shows my old ThatsThem result
ThatsThem says it cannot control how fast search engines drop results. Wait a couple of weeks, then request removal of outdated content from the search engine itself, using the page address from the result.
My listing came back after a few months
New data pulls can recreate a record. The site says it updates its sources monthly. Search again every few months and resubmit, and keep the confirmation email from your first request.

Subject: Opt-out and deletion request for my ThatsThem listing
Hello, Under applicable state privacy laws, I request that ThatsThem delete the personal information it holds about me and stop selling or sharing it. Name: [Full name] Email address: [Email] Location: [City, State] Listing URL: [Listing URL] Please confirm by email once the listing has been removed. Thank you.
After you opt out of ThatsThem
Keep the confirmation email as your record. ThatsThem refreshes from its sources on a monthly cycle, so a listing can come back, especially if you move or get a new number. Re-check every two to three months by searching your name, phone numbers and email addresses. The opt-out page warns that your details may still appear on similar sites, so work through USPhoneBook, Nuwber, FastPeopleSearch and Spokeo next. Re-checking those on a schedule is what My Privacy Agent's Patrol plan automates.
Who does what for ThatsThem

Realistic scope
This guide removes this one ThatsThem listing once you complete the step only you can do. It does not touch ThatsThem's other data products, other brokers that buy data from ThatsThem, or the public records the listing was built from -- those need their own opt-outs. Most people-search sites re-ingest data on their own schedule, so plan on re-checking thatsthem.com every few months even after a successful removal.
My Privacy Agent opens the ThatsThem form and tracks the outcome.
ThatsThem requires a step only you can do (a CAPTCHA). After you authorize a mission, our agent opens the official form with your scan details, hands you that step, records the request as filed only when the site confirms it, and re-checks the listing before anything is called removed. If the site blocks the agent, you get the same instructions above instead of a fake status.
Current service availability and terms are listed on the pricing page. Nothing is marked removed before a provider or native action succeeds.
ThatsThem opt-out FAQ
Is ThatsThem legit, and is its opt-out form safe to use?
ThatsThem is a real people-search site, and thatsthem.com/optout is its official opt-out. The trade-off is that the form asks for your name, street address, email and phone number so it can find the right record. Enter them as they appear on the listing and use an email you control. The site does not publish who operates it, which is a reason to submit only what the form requires.
How do I opt out of ThatsThem?
Go to thatsthem.com/optout, enter the name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, email and phone number from the listing, pass the bot check and click "Submit Opt-Out Request". It is free and needs no account.
How long does the ThatsThem opt-out take?
The page says removal from its public search may take 5 to 7 days, and search engines can take longer. Our research on the form record a 72-hour processing window. Re-check after a week and email optout@thatsthem.com if the listing is still live.
Why does ThatsThem ask for my address and phone number to opt out?
The opt-out page says the details are needed to process the correct record. All seven fields were marked required when we loaded it on October 5, 2026. Use the details as they appear on the listing, not new ones.
Do I need a separate ThatsThem opt-out for each phone number or email address?
Yes, if they appear as separate records. ThatsThem says to submit separate requests for each record you want removed. Search by every number and email address you use and file a request for each listing.
Why is my ThatsThem listing back?
ThatsThem rebuilds records from its sources, which it says update monthly, so a removed listing can reappear after a new data pull. Resubmit the form and re-check every two to three months.
Does opting out of ThatsThem remove me from Spokeo or FastPeopleSearch?
No. The opt-out page itself says your information may still be visible on similar sites. Each site runs its own removal, so you need a separate request for Spokeo, FastPeopleSearch, USPhoneBook, Nuwber and any others that list you.
Is there a ThatsThem opt-out email address?
Yes. optout@thatsthem.com is the contact for opt-out requests. Use it for follow-up if the form fails or a listing is still live after about ten days, and include the listing URL.
Does My Privacy Agent remove me from ThatsThem automatically?
ThatsThem requires a step only you can do (a CAPTCHA). After you authorize a mission, our agent opens the official form with your scan details, hands you that step, records the request as filed only when the site confirms it, and re-checks the listing before anything is called removed. If the site blocks the agent, you get the same instructions above instead of a fake status.
