How to remove yourself from InfoTracer (2026 opt-out guide)
Guide content reviewed 2026-10-05
Reading current independent checks… See route evidence
Email privacy@infotracer.com with your name, email, and the profile URL. InfoTracer responds within 45 days. The web form at infotracer.com/optout/ is now information-only about privacy rights, not a removal tool. Email is the active channel. Keep the confirmation email as proof of your request.
Direct link to infotracer.com. Opt-outs on this page are free; you never need to pay InfoTracer or us to use them.
Work through this with your agent
Give your agent the published steps, sources and read-only tools. It should check the current official process and ask before taking action.
Copies public guidance only. You still approve any request your agent submits.

Check if you are listed on InfoTracer
InfoTracer does not expose a stable public search URL we can prefill, so find your listing directly: open infotracer.com, search your full name plus your state (and previous states), and copy the URL of the record that is you. The opt-out form usually asks for that URL or the same name and location.
What InfoTracer typically shows
- Full name and current job title
- Court and arrest records
- Current and past addresses
- Phone numbers (cell and landline)
- Relatives and family members
- Age or date of birth
- Social media profiles
- Education and employment history
An exposure report can help organize candidate listings before you work through the site's official steps.
Remove yourself from InfoTracer
6 steps. Use the official site in a normal browser and follow its current instructions if a human check fails.
- 01
Find your profile on InfoTracer
Search infotracer.com for your full name and any city or state where you have lived. Note the URL of the profile that matches you, and any email or phone numbers shown.
- 02
Collect the profile URL
Click through to the actual profile page and copy the full URL from the address bar. This proof of the listing helps InfoTracer locate the exact record to delete.
- 03
Draft a removal email
Write to privacy@infotracer.com. Include your full name, the email address you want to use for confirmation, and the profile URL. You can write 'I request deletion of my personal information from InfoTracer' to be clear.
- 04
Send the email
Send the email from an address you control and check regularly. Keep a copy of what you sent; it serves as proof of your request.
- 05
Wait for the response
InfoTracer says it responds to data-subject deletion requests within 45 days. Confirm the email is not caught by spam filters; check promotions and other tabs.
- 06
Verify removal
After InfoTracer responds, search infotracer.com and the major state-arrest sites (govwarrantsearch.org, alabamaarrests.org) for your name to confirm the profiles are gone.
What the InfoTracer opt-out page looked like when we checked
When we loaded infotracer.com on October 5, 2026, it showed a "verify you are human" check before the form. Use a normal browser with VPN off; the form usually appears after the check.
This is a dated record of what our browser saw, not a removal. We never submit requests from this page.

What is InfoTracer?
InfoTracer is a background check and public records search platform. It powers a large network of state-arrest-record sites (like alabamaarrests.org, govwarrantsearch.org and the rest). The core site lets anyone search billions of public records: court filings, arrest reports, relatives, phone numbers, addresses, social profiles and more. Most users never signed up; the company gathers data by scanning public records, court databases, people directories, and data brokers.
A single opt-out request to InfoTracer covers not just the main InfoTracer.com listing but also most of the 55+ white-label state-arrest sites that run on the same backend. That is why it is a high-priority removal.
What a InfoTracer listing can show
- Full name and current job title
- Court and arrest records
- Current and past addresses
- Phone numbers (cell and landline)
- Relatives and family members
- Age or date of birth
- Social media profiles
- Education and employment history
Who runs InfoTracer, and which sites one request covers
InfoTracer is operated by InfoTracer, LLC, which lists U.S. office addresses and privacy contact at privacy@infotracer.com. InfoTracer also operates or licenses a network of 55+ state-arrest and public-records white-label sites including AlabataArrests.org, GovWarrantSearch.org, and numerous other .org and .net variations. A request to InfoTracer typically removes you from all of them.
Same request also covers: affordablebackgroundchecks.com, alabamaarrests.org, alaskaarrests.org, arizonaarrests.org, arkansasarrests.org, coloradoarrests.org, ctarrests.org, dcarrests.org, dewarrants.org, flarrests.org, georgiaarrests.org, govwarrantsearch.org, hawaiiarrests.org, idahoarrests.org, illinoisarrests.org, indianaarrests.org, iowaarrests.org, kansasarrests.org, kentuckyarrests.org, louisianaarrests.org, maarrests.org, mainearrests.org, marylandarrests.org, michiganarrests.org, minnesotaarrests.org, missouriarrests.org, montanaarrests.org, msarrests.org, ncarrests.org, ndarrests.org, nebraskaarrests.org, nharrests.org, njarrests.org, nmarrests.org, nyarrests.org, ohioarrests.org, oklahomaarrests.org, oregonarrest.org, pennsylvaniaarrests.org, riarrests.org, scarrests.org, sdarrests.org, tennesseearrests.org, texasarrests.org, usrecords.net, uswarrants.org, utaharrests.org, virginiaarrests.org, vtarrests.org, washingtonarrests.org, wisconsinarrests.org, wvarrests.org, wyomingarrests.org
What is the infotracer.com opt-out removal process?
InfoTracer removed the web form from active use. The current removal method is email-only: send your name, email, and profile URL to privacy@infotracer.com. The company responds within 45 days. The old optout/ page at infotracer.com/optout/ now carries privacy policy information but no removal form. When we loaded it on October 5, 2026, it showed privacy rights explainers and directed data-subject requests to an external validation portal.
How long it takes
InfoTracer publishes a 45-day response window for data-subject deletion requests. After receipt, allow up to 10 business days for the profile to actually disappear from the site. If the profile is still visible 60 days after your initial email, reply to the response or contact the company again.
InfoTracer opt-out problems and fixes
The email never bounces but InfoTracer doesn't respond within 45 days
Follow up with another email referencing your first request. Keep all correspondence; InfoTracer should acknowledge each request.
The profile disappeared but it still shows up on state-arrest sites like alabamaarrests.org
Those sites usually sync with InfoTracer within days, but there can be lag. Wait 7-10 more days and re-check. If it persists, email privacy@infotracer.com noting the specific site and URL.
The profile came back months later
InfoTracer re-scrapes public records and court data regularly. New data pulls can recreate profiles. Re-search every 60-90 days and submit a fresh request if needed.
The site shows a newer profile under a different email or phone
That is a separate listing. Submit another deletion request for each profile URL you find.
InfoTracer asks for more information or identity verification
Provide what they ask; identity verification is normal for privacy requests. Do not provide SSN unless absolutely necessary for verification; use a drivers license photo or state ID if asked.

Subject: Data subject deletion request - remove my profile
Hello, I request that InfoTracer delete all of my personal information from its databases and from the network of affiliated sites, and that it not sell or share my personal information with third parties. Full Name: [Full name] Email Address: [Email] Profile URL: [Listing URL] City, State: [City, State] Please confirm receipt and provide the expected timeline for deletion. Thank you.
After you opt out of InfoTracer
InfoTracer is a key hub: one removal request clears most of the state-arrest site network. Keep your confirmation email as proof. The network includes 55+ sites, but occasionally a white-label site lags or re-lists independently; re-check a few weeks later. Court records are also added continuously, so profiles can reappear if you get arrested or a new record is filed. Monitor quarterly or after major life events.
Who does what for InfoTracer
The honest split, so nothing here reads as a promise we cannot keep.
What we handle
- Organizing candidate findings from the sources configured for your exposure check; coverage varies by source.
- Providing this guide's free instructions and published privacy link.
What you must do
- Submit and track the InfoTracer request yourself; it is not one of our removal targets today.
- Open the confirmation email and click the link -- the request is not filed until you do.
- Re-check infotracer.com after InfoTracer publishes a 45-day response window for data-subject deletion requests. After receipt, allow up to 10 business days for the profile to actually disappear from the site. If the profile is still visible 60 days after your initial email, reply to the response or contact the company again. and repeat the process if the listing returns.
Realistic scope
This guide walks you through removing this one InfoTracer listing yourself; we do not automate it today. It does not touch InfoTracer's other data products, other brokers that buy data from InfoTracer, or the public records the listing was built from -- those need their own opt-outs. Most people-search sites re-ingest data on their own schedule, so plan on re-checking infotracer.com every few months even after a successful removal.
InfoTracer is not one of My Privacy Agent's removal targets yet.
We do not file InfoTracer requests today, so the steps above are the whole job. The free scan still shows the people-search and broker listings we can see for your details, and the paid product files the sites it supports; we will not claim to cover InfoTracer until we actually do.
Current service availability and terms are listed on the pricing page. Nothing is marked removed before a provider or native action succeeds.
InfoTracer opt-out FAQ
Is InfoTracer legit, and is removing my data safe?
Yes. InfoTracer is a widely used, real background check service. Its privacy contact and removal process are legitimate. Sending a deletion request via email is safe and standard for regulated data brokers. Do not use third-party sites offering to remove you from InfoTracer for a fee; the official route through privacy@infotracer.com is free and is the one InfoTracer honors.
How do I remove myself from InfoTracer?
Email privacy@infotracer.com with your full name, email, and the profile URL from infotracer.com. InfoTracer will respond within 45 days. There is no longer a web form; email is the removal method.
Does removing myself from InfoTracer also remove me from state-arrest sites?
Yes, usually. A single email to InfoTracer typically removes you from the 55+ state-arrest and public-records white-label sites it operates (alabamaarrests.org, govwarrantsearch.org, etc.). Some sites may lag by a week or two.
How long does InfoTracer take to remove my profile?
InfoTracer says it responds within 45 days. The profile usually disappears from the site within 10 business days after the company processes the request. After 60 days, follow up if the profile is still live.
What if InfoTracer asks for SSN or ID to verify my identity?
That is normal. You can provide the last four digits of your SSN or a photo of a drivers license. InfoTracer needs to confirm you own the profile before deletion.
Why did my InfoTracer profile come back six months later?
Public records and court databases are updated constantly. A new arrest record or court filing can re-create a profile. Re-check InfoTracer every few months and repeat the removal request if needed.
What is the difference between the optout/ page and the email removal?
The infotracer.com/optout/ page is now an informational page about privacy rights and controls. It is not an active removal form. Email to privacy@infotracer.com is the working removal method.
Does My Privacy Agent remove me from InfoTracer automatically?
We do not file InfoTracer requests today, so the steps above are the whole job. The free scan still shows the people-search and broker listings we can see for your details, and the paid product files the sites it supports; we will not claim to cover InfoTracer until we actually do.

Review and change history
A content review or directory snapshot is reference history. A historical route observation does not establish submission, provider acceptance or removal, and does not establish a current working route. Current independent evidence has its own scope and expiry.
· Guide content reviewed against the published sources. This is the recorded review baseline; no earlier editorial change log is available.
· Historical route observation: bot challenge (HTTP 200). This describes only the page observed on that date; later steps and today's availability were not established by that observation.
Read current independent route evidence. That record reports its own scope, date, expiry and any gaps; this history does not renew verification.
