FreePhoneTracer opt-out: how to remove your phone number
FreePhoneTracer does not run its own removal page. You remove your number through the BeenVerified opt-out portal at beenverified.com/app/optout/search, which redirects to beenverified.com/svc/optout/search/: search your name and city or state, pick the record that is you, enter your email, complete the human check, and click the verification link in the email. It is free. The portal sits behind a Cloudflare check, so use a normal browser without a VPN.
Reading current independent checks… See route evidence
FreePhoneTracer is operated by BeenVerified; opt-outs are handled at beenverified.com (https://www.beenverified.com/svc/optout/search/comprehensive_optouts).
Work through this with your agent
Give your agent the published steps, sources and read-only tools. It should check the current official process and ask before taking action.

Remove yourself from FreePhoneTracer
7 steps. Use the official site in a normal browser and follow its current instructions if a human check fails.
- 01
Open the BeenVerified opt-out portal
Go to beenverified.com/app/optout/search; it forwards to beenverified.com/svc/optout/search/. This is the shared opt-out for FreePhoneTracer and every other BeenVerified-family site. Check the address bar shows beenverified.com before typing anything; you never need to pay or create an account.
- 02
Get past the human check
When we loaded the portal on October 5, 2026 it sat behind a Cloudflare "Just a moment..." screen with a "Verify you are human" check that did not clear in automation. On a normal home browser it should pass on its own; if it loops, turn off your VPN and any ad or script blockers and reload.
- 03
Search for your record
Enter your first name, last name, and city and state, then run the search. The portal looks for matching records in the BeenVerified database, which is the same database FreePhoneTracer reads from. If nothing comes up, try a former city or a nickname before assuming you are not listed.
- 04
Pick the record that is you
Results show name, age and location hints. Click the button on the entry that matches you (the flow labels it as confirming "That's the one"). Take a second here: picking the wrong person sends the suppression to someone else's record and leaves yours live.
- 05
Enter your email and complete the CAPTCHA
Type an email address you control and finish the CAPTCHA. The family flow uses a Turnstile-style checkbox, so it usually needs no puzzle solving. The email is used to verify the request, not to sign you up for marketing.
- 06
Click the verification link in the email
BeenVerified sends a confirmation email; the request is not filed until you click the link inside it. Check spam and promotions folders if it does not arrive within a few minutes. Keep that email as your record of the request.
- 07
Re-check FreePhoneTracer
After the confirmation, search your number on freephonetracer.com again to confirm the name result is gone or blanked. If the listing still shows your details later, email privacy@beenverified.com with the number and the date you verified the request.
What the FreePhoneTracer opt-out page looked like when we checked
When we loaded beenverified.com on October 5, 2026, it showed a "verify you are human" check before the form. Use a normal browser with VPN off; the form usually appears after the check.
This is a dated record of what our browser saw, not a removal. We never submit requests from this page.

What is FreePhoneTracer?
FreePhoneTracer is a free reverse phone lookup site. You type in a phone number and it shows the listed owner's name and general location, so people can see who is calling them before they pick up. You never have to sign up or be notified for your number to appear; the data comes from public records and people-search databases.
FreePhoneTracer is operated by BeenVerified, the New York-based people-search company behind a whole family of lookup brands. In practice, a FreePhoneTracer result is a window into the same database that powers BeenVerified and its sister sites. FreePhoneTracer's own privacy page says it has no forward cell-phone directory, shares no call logs, and excludes sensitive data like Social Security numbers, and it points opt-outs at the company's shared removal process.
What a FreePhoneTracer listing can show
- The listed owner's full name for a phone number
- The owner's city and state
- The phone carrier
- Whether the line is a landline or mobile
- A prompt to run a fuller background report on BeenVerified, which can expose addresses, relatives and other public-record details
Who runs FreePhoneTracer, and which sites one request covers
FreePhoneTracer is operated by BeenVerified (beenverified.com), a New York people-search company founded in 2007. It is one brand in the BeenVerified network rather than a standalone site; the same company runs NumberGuru, NeighborWho, Ownerly, PeopleLooker, PeopleSmart, Bumper, MoneyBot5000 and Reverse Phone. Because these sites draw on the same database and one shared suppression portal, a single BeenVerified opt-out request covers the whole family.
Same request also covers: beenverified.com, bumper.com, moneybot5000.com, neighborwho.com, numberguru.com, ownerly.com, peoplelooker.com, peoplesmart.com, reversephone.com
What is the freephonetracer.com opt-out removal process?
There is no freephonetracer.com opt-out form. The removal happens on the BeenVerified portal at beenverified.com/app/optout/search, which forwards to beenverified.com/svc/optout/search/. You search your name plus city and state, pick the matching record, enter your email address, complete a CAPTCHA, and confirm through a link emailed to you. When we loaded the portal on October 5, 2026, a Cloudflare managed challenge ("Just a moment...") sat in front of it, so expect a "Verify you are human" step and use a normal browser without a VPN. We did not submit a request.
How long it takes
BeenVerified does not publish a processing timeline on the opt-out page. The verification email is your proof the request was filed. Re-search your number on FreePhoneTracer after that confirmation arrives; if the name still comes up weeks later, follow up at privacy@beenverified.com with the number, the approximate request date, and a screenshot of the live listing.
FreePhoneTracer opt-out problems and fixes
The page is stuck on "Just a moment..."
That is the Cloudflare managed challenge in front of the portal. Use a regular home browser, disconnect your VPN, and disable ad blockers or script blockers for beenverified.com, then reload. When we loaded the page on October 5, 2026 this check appeared even from a residential connection.
My record does not come up in the portal search
Try name variations, maiden names, nicknames and previous cities. If it still is not found, your record may already be suppressed, or listed under different details; email privacy@beenverified.com with your number and ask them to locate and suppress it.
The verification email never arrived
Check spam, promotions and any forwarding rules, then submit once more. Use an address you check regularly and that is not set to block unknown senders.
My number came back on FreePhoneTracer months later
People-search databases refresh from public records, so a suppressed record can reappear when new data arrives. Repeat the portal request; if it keeps returning, email privacy@beenverified.com and reference your earlier confirmation.
Several of my numbers are listed
Run the portal flow once per number, picking the matching record each time. One verification email can cover the request you submitted, so repeat the search-and-pick step for each listing rather than assuming one pass catches them all.
The listing is gone on FreePhoneTracer but I show up on other sites
The BeenVerified opt-out covers only the BeenVerified family. People-search sites outside that family, such as Whitepages, Spokeo or Intelius, hold separate copies and each needs its own opt-out.
Send this to privacy@beenverified.com
Subject: Opt-out and deletion request for my FreePhoneTracer / BeenVerified record
Hello, Under applicable state privacy laws, including the CCPA where it applies, I request that BeenVerified and its family sites, including FreePhoneTracer, remove my personal information and suppress the associated record from future data refreshes. Name: [Full name] Email address: [Email] Location: [City, State] FreePhoneTracer listing URL or phone number: [Listing URL] Please confirm by email once the opt-out is complete. Thank you.
After you opt out of FreePhoneTracer
Suppression works, but it is not a one-time event: public records update and BeenVerified-family sites re-import data, so a number can quietly reappear. Re-check FreePhoneTracer and the sister sites a few times a year, and repeat the portal request when something resurfaces. Beyond this family, keep working through the other major people-search sites, since each holds its own copy of your data. Re-checking that list over and over is what My Privacy Agent's Patrol plan automates.
Realistic scope
This guide explains how to request the action FreePhoneTracer publishes for its own site. Reading the guide or sending a request does not establish completed removal. Other sites and original public records are separate; recheck the specific freephonetracer.com page after the site's response and if the information appears again.
Not yet a filed-for-you target
This page documents FreePhoneTracer's published privacy route. My Privacy Agent Patrol does not file this site automatically yet. An exposure check uses configured sources and does not confirm that this specific site is included.
FreePhoneTracer opt-out FAQ
Is FreePhoneTracer legit, and is its opt-out safe to use?
Yes. FreePhoneTracer is a real reverse phone lookup run by BeenVerified, a long-established people-search company, and its opt-out goes through BeenVerified's official portal. The flow asks for your name, city and state, an email address, and a CAPTCHA, and it is free. Be wary of third-party sites that charge to remove you from FreePhoneTracer; you can do it yourself at no cost.
How do I remove my number from FreePhoneTracer?
Use the BeenVerified opt-out portal at beenverified.com/app/optout/search. Search your name and city or state, pick the record that matches you, enter your email, complete the human check, and click the verification link in the confirmation email. FreePhoneTracer pulls from the BeenVerified database, so suppressing it there removes the FreePhoneTracer result too.
Is the FreePhoneTracer opt-out free?
Yes. The BeenVerified portal and the privacy@beenverified.com email route both cost nothing, and you do not need a BeenVerified subscription. Any site charging you a fee to opt out of FreePhoneTracer is a middleman you can skip.
How long does the FreePhoneTracer opt-out take?
BeenVerified does not publish a processing time on the opt-out page. The verification email confirms your request was filed. Re-search your number on FreePhoneTracer afterward, and if it still shows your name weeks later, follow up with privacy@beenverified.com.
Does opting out of FreePhoneTracer also remove me from NumberGuru and NeighborWho?
Yes, in most cases. Those sites are BeenVerifier family brands drawing on the same database, and the portal suppresses your record across the family. Verify by searching your number on one or two of the sister sites after your request clears.
Why is my number back on FreePhoneTracer after I opted out?
People-search databases refresh from public records and new data sources. If a refreshed record re-adds your number, the old suppression may not carry over. Repeat the portal request and, if it keeps happening, email privacy@beenverified.com referencing your earlier confirmation.
Why does FreePhoneTracer have my name in the first place?
FreePhoneTracer compiles its listings from public records and commercial data sources; you do not have to sign up or agree to appear. Its privacy page says it shares no call logs or sensitive data like Social Security numbers, but the listed owner name and location come from those public-record sources.

Review and change history
A content review or directory snapshot is reference history. A historical route observation does not establish submission, provider acceptance or removal, and does not establish a current working route. Current independent evidence has its own scope and expiry.
· Guide content reviewed against the published sources. This is the recorded review baseline; no earlier editorial change log is available.
· Historical route observation: bot challenge (HTTP 403). This describes only the page observed on that date; later steps and today's availability were not established by that observation.
Read current independent route evidence. That record reports its own scope, date, expiry and any gaps; this history does not renew verification.
