Reading current independent checks… See route evidence

Go to MyLife's privacy request page at mylife.com/privacyrequest and fill out the form with your name, current city, state, birth year, profile URL, and email address. Submit the form, complete the reCAPTCHA, and watch for a confirmation email from MyLife. MyLife states it processes removal requests within 14 business days to 4 weeks, though many are faster. If the form fails, call MyLife directly at 1-888-704-1900 (option 2) or email privacy@mylife.com.

Work through this with your agent

Give your agent the published steps, sources and read-only tools. It should check the current official process and ask before taking action.

Check if you are listed on MyLife

MyLife does not expose a stable public search URL we can prefill, so find your listing directly: open mylife.com, search your full name plus your state (and previous states), and copy the URL of the record that is you. The opt-out form usually asks for that URL or the same name and location.

What MyLife typically shows

  • Full name and current and previous addresses
  • Age and date of birth
  • Reputation score (a proprietary rating)
  • Criminal records and court cases
  • Relatives and family members
  • Bankruptcies, liens, and civil judgments
  • Education and employment history
  • Social media profiles and usernames

An exposure report can help organize candidate listings before you work through the site's official steps.

Step by step

Remove yourself from MyLife

7 steps. Use the official site in a normal browser and follow its current instructions if a human check fails.

  1. 01

Search for your profile on MyLife

Visit mylife.com and search for your full name, possibly with your city or state. Review the results to find your profile. Note the URL of the profile you want removed; it typically looks like mylife.com/profile/yourname or similar.

  2. 02

Go to the privacy request page

Navigate to mylife.com/privacyrequest. The page loads an embedded form (JotForm) where you'll enter your information. Do not pay anyone to remove your MyLife profile; the official form is free.

  3. 03

    Enter your name and location

In the JotForm, fill in your first name, last name, current city, and state. These fields help MyLife locate your exact profile if multiple people share your name.

  4. 04

    Enter your birth year

The form requests your birth year (not your full date of birth). This additional identifier helps ensure the correct profile is deleted. Provide the birth year only, not the full date.

  5. 05

    Paste your profile URL

If you found your profile URL in your search, paste it into the "Profile URL" field. This makes it much easier for MyLife to identify and delete the right profile. If you could not find your URL, leave this field blank and MyLife will search using your name and location.

  6. 06

Enter your email, complete reCAPTCHA, and submit

Provide an email address you currently control. Check the "I'm not a robot" reCAPTCHA box and wait for verification. Click the submit button; the page should confirm your request was received. Keep this confirmation and watch your email for a follow-up from MyLife, which may ask you to verify the request via an emailed link.

  7. 07

    Re-check after 4 weeks

Search MyLife for your name and city after 4 weeks. The profile should be gone or significantly reduced. If multiple profiles appeared in your initial search, you may need to file separate requests for each one.

What is MyLife?

MyLife.com publishes online reputation profiles that aggregate criminal records, court judgments, liens, bankruptcies, and education history for individuals. The site assigns each profile a "reputation score" and sells detailed reports that include names, addresses, family members, background information, and social media links. MyLife has been the subject of regulatory action for allegedly misleading users about the completeness of data and the simplicity of removal.

You do not have to have signed up with MyLife to appear in it. The site compiles data from public records, social media, data brokers, and other sources, so a profile can contain personal information you never gave to MyLife.

What a MyLife listing can show

  • Full name and current and previous addresses
  • Age and date of birth
  • Reputation score (a proprietary rating)
  • Criminal records and court cases
  • Relatives and family members
  • Bankruptcies, liens, and civil judgments
  • Education and employment history
  • Social media profiles and usernames

Who runs MyLife, and which sites one request covers

MyLife is operated by MyLife (mylife.com), headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The mailing address is 907 Westwood Boulevard, Suite 359, Los Angeles, CA 90024, and the privacy contact is privacy@mylife.com. MyLife's customer support can also be reached at membersupport@mylife.com or 1-888-704-1900. MyLife is not part of a larger family of sister sites; other reputation and background-check sites such as Spokeo, Whitepages, and CheckPeople operate independently.

What is the mylife.com opt-out removal process?

MyLife's opt-out process uses an embedded JotForm on the privacy-request page that collects your name, location, birth year, the URL of your profile (if available), and email address. You complete a reCAPTCHA v2 verification and submit. MyLife sends a confirmation email; you may need to click a verification link depending on the response. When we checked the page on October 5, 2026, it returned HTTP 200 with the embedded form accessible. MyLife states removal takes 14 business days to 4 weeks, though many profiles are removed faster.

How long it takes

MyLife's official timeline is 14 business days to 4 weeks. In practice, some profiles are removed within a few days, and some take the full 4 weeks. Re-check your MyLife profile 1 to 2 weeks after submitting, and again after 4 weeks. If the profile is still visible after 4 weeks, file a second removal request or contact MyLife directly at privacy@mylife.com or 1-888-704-1900.

If it does not work

MyLife opt-out problems and fixes

The privacy request page will not load

MyLife's site uses Cloudflare security measures that can block certain connections. Try the page in a regular browser without VPN, disable ad blockers and privacy extensions, and hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R). If it still will not load, call MyLife at 1-888-704-1900 (option 2) and ask to file a removal request over the phone.

The reCAPTCHA will not complete

reCAPTCHA can be slow or require multiple attempts. Wait a few seconds for it to load, then try clicking the box again. If it times out, refresh the page and try the form again. Disable VPN if you are using one, as it can interfere with CAPTCHA verification.

The form submitted but you received no confirmation email

Check your spam and promotions folders. If the confirmation does not arrive within an hour, wait 24 to 48 hours to see if MyLife processes the request silently. If you still have no update after 2 days, call MyLife at 1-888-704-1900 (option 2) to verify the form was received.

MyLife quotes 4 weeks, and your profile is still visible after 2 weeks

MyLife is slow; 4 weeks is not unusual. Wait until the 4-week mark to follow up. If the profile is still there after 28 days, email privacy@mylife.com or call 1-888-704-1900 with the date you submitted the form and ask for an update.

Multiple profiles appear for you (different cities or time periods)

Multiple MyLife profiles per person are common, especially if you've lived in several cities or your name appears in multiple public-records databases. You must file a separate removal request for each profile. Go back to the form, enter the information for the next profile, and submit again.

Your profile came back after months

MyLife updates regularly with fresh data from public records. If a new profile appears after removal, file a new removal request. Keep copies of your prior removal confirmations as proof of previous requests.

After you opt out of MyLife

Save your removal confirmation from MyLife. Because MyLife aggregates public records and data from multiple sources, new profiles can appear after significant life changes (job, move, name change, or court filing). Check MyLife every 3 to 6 months and re-file removal requests as needed. Note that Reunion.com profiles are the same data and are removed through MyLife. Other reputation and background-check sites such as Spokeo, Whitepages, TruthFinder, and Intelius are separate and require individual opt-out requests.

Re-check your MyLife profile 1 to 2 weeks after submitting, and again after 4 weeks. Realistic scope

This guide walks you through removing this one MyLife listing yourself; we do not automate it today. It does not touch MyLife's other data products, other brokers that buy data from MyLife, or the public records the listing was built from -- those need their own opt-outs. Most people-search sites re-ingest data on their own schedule, so plan on re-checking mylife.com every few months even after a successful removal.

Manual guide only

MyLife is not one of My Privacy Agent's removal targets yet.

We do not file MyLife requests today, so the steps above are the whole job. The free scan still shows the people-search and broker listings we can see for your details, and the paid product files the sites it supports; we will not claim to cover MyLife until we actually do.

Current service availability and terms are listed on the pricing page. Nothing is marked removed before a provider or native action succeeds.

Review and change history

A content review or directory snapshot is reference history. A historical route observation does not establish submission, provider acceptance or removal, and does not establish a current working route. Current independent evidence has its own scope and expiry.

  1. · Guide content reviewed against the published sources. This is the recorded review baseline; no earlier editorial change log is available.

  2. · Historical route observation: reachable (HTTP 200). This describes only the page observed on that date; later steps and today's availability were not established by that observation.

Read current independent route evidence. That record reports its own scope, date, expiry and any gaps; this history does not renew verification.
