Check if you are listed on Nuwber

Nuwber does not expose a stable public search URL we can prefill, so find your listing directly: open nuwber.com, search your full name plus your state (and previous states), and copy the URL of the record that is you. The opt-out form usually asks for that URL or the same name and location.

What Nuwber typically shows

  • Your full name and current address
  • Historical addresses and where you used to live
  • Estimated age or date of birth
  • Phone numbers, including cell and landline
  • Names of relatives and associates
  • Social media profiles and links
  • Public records (voting registration, property ownership)

An exposure report can help organize candidate listings before you work through the site's official steps.

Step by step

Remove yourself from Nuwber

8 steps. Use the official site in a normal browser and follow its current instructions if a human check fails.

  1. 01

    Find your Nuwber profile

Go to nuwber.com and search for your name and state. Find the profile listing that matches you and open it. Copy the full URL from your browser's address bar—it should start with nuwber.com/people/.

  2. 02

    Open the Nuwber removal page

In a new tab, go to nuwber.com/removal/link. Use a regular browser without VPN or ad blockers. The page is protected by Cloudflare and will show a 'Just a moment' screen or block automated access.

  3. 03

    Paste your profile URL

Paste the URL you copied into the text field labeled with the profile URL prompt. Make sure the URL is complete and correct.

  4. 04

    Enter your email address

Type an email address you control into the email field. Nuwber will send a verification link to this address; you cannot complete the removal without it.

  5. 05

    Complete the CAPTCHA

Solve the reCAPTCHA challenge. When we loaded the page on October 5, 2026 a CAPTCHA was required to submit the form.

  6. 06

    Submit the request

Click the Submit or Begin Removal button. The form will confirm that Nuwber is sending a verification email to your address.

  7. 07

    Click the verification link

Open the email from Nuwber and click the confirmation link. If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check spam and promotions folders. The link may expire after 24 hours.

  8. 08

    Re-check your profile

After 24 to 48 hours, search Nuwber again for your name and state to confirm your profile is no longer visible. If you have multiple profiles from different cities or name variations, repeat this process for each one.

What is Nuwber?

Nuwber is a free people-search website that publishes detailed profiles containing addresses, phone numbers, social media links, names of relatives, estimated age, and other personal data. Nuwber is owned by Inflection LLC, formerly known as Whitepages Inc., a Seattle-based company. You do not have to have signed up for Nuwber to be listed on it; the site builds profiles automatically.

Nuwber combines data from multiple sources including public records, utility records, property records, phonebook listings, and data purchased from or traded with other brokers and resellers. The company says it also scrapes public web pages and social media. This means Nuwber profiles often contain information you never gave to Nuwber directly—such as a personal cell phone number obtained from a data reseller, or an old email address that appeared in a public record years ago.

What a Nuwber listing can show

  • Your full name and current address
  • Historical addresses and where you used to live
  • Estimated age or date of birth
  • Phone numbers, including cell and landline
  • Names of relatives and associates
  • Social media profiles and links
  • Public records (voting registration, property ownership)

Who runs Nuwber, and which sites one request covers

Nuwber is operated by Inflection LLC (formerly Whitepages Inc), a US company based in Seattle, Washington. It is a standalone people-search service, not part of a larger family with a shared opt-out portal. Each data broker has its own removal process, so removing from Nuwber does not remove you from Spokeo, TruthFinder, Intelius, or similar sites.

What is the nuwber.com opt-out removal process?

The nuwber.com removal process uses a form-and-email verification flow. You copy your profile URL from Nuwber, paste it on the removal page, enter an email address you control, complete a CAPTCHA, and then click the verification link Nuwber emails you. When we loaded the page on October 5, 2026 it required a profile URL, an email address, and a CAPTCHA; the page is Cloudflare-protected and will not load in an automated browser. Use a regular browser without VPN.

How long it takes

Nuwber states a removal timeframe of 24 to 48 hours. In practice, check after two days. If your profile is still live after three days, email support@nuwber.com with your removal request confirmation email and the profile URL.

If it does not work

Nuwber opt-out problems and fixes

The removal page shows an error or 'Just a moment' message

The page is Cloudflare-protected and will not load in an automated or controlled browser. Disable any VPN, ad blockers, and script blockers, then reload in a standard browser like Chrome or Firefox opened normally (not in private/incognito mode if you have tracking blocked).

The form says it needs a 'profile URL' but I only have my name

Go to nuwber.com, search for yourself, and click on your profile listing. Copy the entire URL from the address bar (should start with nuwber.com/people/)—do not use the search page URL.

The verification email never arrived

Check your spam and promotions folders. If it does not appear after 10 minutes, try submitting again with the same email. If it still fails, email support@nuwber.com with your name and the profile URL and ask them to process the removal manually.

My profile disappeared but my phone number still shows up elsewhere

Nuwber is just one broker. Your phone and address are sold and re-sold by dozens of data brokers. You will need to remove yourself from Spokeo, TruthFinder, Intelius, FastPeopleSearch, and others separately.

My Nuwber profile came back weeks later

Nuwber refreshes its data regularly and can re-list you from new records. Re-check every few months and repeat the removal process if needed. Keep your first removal confirmation email as proof of your request.

Subject: Request to remove my profile and personal data from Nuwber

Hello, Under applicable state privacy laws, I request that Nuwber delete my complete profile and all personal information it has about me. Name: [Full name] Email address: [Email] Address: [City, State] Profile URL: [Listing URL] I submitted a removal request using your online form on the date reflected in the attached confirmation email. If there is an issue with that request, please process this removal manually. Please confirm by email when my profile has been removed. Thank you.

After you opt out of Nuwber

Save the removal confirmation email from Nuwber. Because Nuwber pulls data from public sources and other brokers, your profile can reappear after months. Re-check Nuwber every 60 to 90 days and repeat the removal process if your profile returns. Work through other people-search sites (Spokeo, TruthFinder, Intelius, FastPeopleSearch, BeenVerified) at the same time—each one needs its own removal request.

Scope

Who does what for Nuwber

The honest split, so nothing here reads as a promise we cannot keep.

What we handle

Set expectations

Realistic scope

This guide removes this one Nuwber listing once you complete the step only you can do. It does not touch Nuwber's other data products, other brokers that buy data from Nuwber, or the public records the listing was built from -- those need their own opt-outs. Most people-search sites re-ingest data on their own schedule, so plan on re-checking nuwber.com every few months even after a successful removal.

Guided handoff, then tracked

My Privacy Agent opens the Nuwber form and tracks the outcome.

Nuwber requires a step only you can do (a CAPTCHA, email confirmation). After you authorize a mission, our agent opens the official form with your scan details, hands you that step, records the request as filed only when the site confirms it, and re-checks the listing before anything is called removed. If the site blocks the agent, you get the same instructions above instead of a fake status.

Current service availability and terms are listed on the pricing page. Nothing is marked removed before a provider or native action succeeds.

Common questions

Nuwber opt-out FAQ

Is Nuwber a real company and is its opt-out safe?

Yes. Nuwber is a real, long-running people-search service owned by Inflection LLC (formerly Whitepages Inc). Its removal form is the official opt-out. It asks only for your profile URL, email address and a CAPTCHA—it does not ask for passwords, payment, or personal ID. Do not use third-party sites that claim to remove you from Nuwber for a fee; the official removal form is free.

How do I remove my profile from Nuwber?

Find your profile on nuwber.com, copy its URL, then go to nuwber.com/removal/link, paste the URL, enter an email you control, complete a CAPTCHA, and click the verification link in the email Nuwber sends. Your profile should disappear within 24 to 48 hours.

Is the Nuwber opt-out free?

Yes. The removal form at nuwber.com/removal/link is free. You never need to pay to remove yourself from Nuwber.

How long does it take Nuwber to remove my profile?

Nuwber says 24 to 48 hours. Re-check after two days. If your profile is still there after three days, email support@nuwber.com.

Does removing myself from Nuwber also remove me from Spokeo or BeenVerified?

No. Nuwber is a separate company. Each people-search site has its own database and removal process. You must submit a separate removal request for Spokeo, BeenVerified, TruthFinder, Intelius and other brokers.

My profile on Nuwber shows a phone number I never gave to Nuwber. How did they get it?

Nuwber pulls data from public records, utility records, property records, phonebooks, and other data brokers and resellers. Your phone number likely came from one of those sources, not from Nuwber directly.

Why does the removal page give me a 'Just a moment' message?

Nuwber's removal page is protected by Cloudflare to block automated access. Use a standard browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) without VPN or ad blockers. The page will not work in an automated-browser tool or with tracking blockers enabled.

What if the verification email from Nuwber never arrives?

Check spam and promotions folders. If it is not there, resubmit the form with the same email. If removal emails keep failing, email support@nuwber.com directly with your name and profile URL and ask them to remove you manually.

Does My Privacy Agent remove me from Nuwber automatically?

Nuwber requires a step only you can do (a CAPTCHA, email confirmation). After you authorize a mission, our agent opens the official form with your scan details, hands you that step, records the request as filed only when the site confirms it, and re-checks the listing before anything is called removed. If the site blocks the agent, you get the same instructions above instead of a fake status.

Review and change history

A content review or directory snapshot is reference history. A historical route observation does not establish submission, provider acceptance or removal, and does not establish a current working route. Current independent evidence has its own scope and expiry.

  1. · Guide content reviewed against the published sources. This is the recorded review baseline; no earlier editorial change log is available.

  2. · Historical route observation: unreachable. This describes only the page observed on that date; later steps and today's availability were not established by that observation.

Read current independent route evidence. That record reports its own scope, date, expiry and any gaps; this history does not renew verification.
