USRECORDS opt-out: how to remove your public-record listing

USRECORDS routes its opt-out through Infotracer. Start at infotracer.com/optout, but expect an information-only page or a human check rather than a normal form. The primary route is privacy@infotracer.com with a 45-day response window. Email the parent operator with your name, location and listing URL, then keep the reply and recheck USRECORDS and the related domains covered by the shared family request.

USRECORDS is operated by InfoTracer; opt-outs are handled at infotracer.com (https://infotracer.com/optout/).

Work through this with your agent

Give your agent the published steps, sources and read-only tools. It should check the current official process and ask before taking action.

Copies public guidance only. You still approve any request your agent submits.

Step by step

Remove yourself from USRECORDS

7 steps. Use the official site in a normal browser and follow its current instructions if a human check fails.

  1. 01

    Save the USRECORDS listing

Open your USRECORDS page and copy its full URL. Check the name, state, city or record details so you know which page belongs to you. Keep a screenshot or note of the visible domains, because the Infotracer family route is intended to cover related sites as well.

  2. 02

    Open the Infotracer privacy route

Go to https://infotracer.com/optout. USRECORDS lists this Infotracer page as its opt-out route. When we loaded it on October 5, 2026, it redirected to the trailing-slash version and showed a bot challenge with no observable form fields, so do not expect the page itself to provide a complete submission form.

  3. 03

    Expect a human check

Our check recorded a bot challenge. If you see "Verify you are human," use a normal browser without a VPN and complete the check yourself. A custom "slide to verify" check also appears on the secondary member route. Passing either check only grants access; it is not a removal confirmation.

  4. 04

    Use the primary privacy email

Use privacy@infotracer.com as the primary route; the Infotracer opt-out page is information-only. Email the request from an address you control. Include your full name, city and state, the USRECORDS listing URL and a clear request to delete or suppress the listing and confirm the result.

  5. 05

    Keep the request evidence

Save the sent message, timestamp, exact recipient, listing URL and any automatic or human reply. Do not treat an email being sent as proof that the operator received or accepted it. If you use the secondary route at https://members.infotracer.com/removeMyData, save its confirmation separately.

  6. 06

    Allow the stated response window

A 45-day window is stated for the privacy email response. Use that as the operator's stated response period, not as a promise that every search result will disappear on that date. If you receive a response sooner, keep it and follow any verification instruction that matches the official domain.

  7. 07

    Recheck the shared family

After the response window or a written confirmation, search USRECORDS again and check the related domains listed in this guide. A shared request can cover the listed family, but an independent search is still needed to see what remains visible. Record each domain that still shows a page.

What the USRECORDS opt-out page looked like when we checked

Behind a human check

When we loaded infotracer.com on October 5, 2026, it showed a "verify you are human" check before the form. Use a normal browser with VPN off; the form usually appears after the check.

This is a dated record of what our browser saw, not a removal. We never submit requests from this page.

What is USRECORDS?

USRECORDS is a people-search site that organizes public-record information into searchable pages. Its official people-search content describes searches by name and location and links to record categories such as arrests, warrants, court records, criminal records, marriages, divorces, deaths, inmates, obituaries and property. A page may bring together records from different states, which can make old information easier to find in one place.

USRECORDS is not a government records office. Its privacy policy says the data is assembled from outside information sources and is not endorsed by a federal or state government. The service is part of an Infotracer family. That matters for removal: the primary privacy route is on Infotracer, and the family covers a group of related arrests.org-style domains.

What a USRECORDS listing can show

  • Names and location details
  • Arrest records
  • Arrest warrants
  • Court and criminal records
  • Birth, marriage, divorce and death records
  • Inmate and obituary records
  • Property records

Who runs USRECORDS, and which sites one request covers

USRECORDS is part of the Infotracer family, with infotracer.com as the parent domain and privacy@infotracer.com as the primary privacy contact. The family route covers 54 arrests.org-style domains in total, with the related domains listed below. A request through the Infotracer privacy route is the shared family path described here, not a general opt-out for unrelated people-search companies.

Same request also covers: affordablebackgroundchecks.com, alabamaarrests.org, alaskaarrests.org, arizonaarrests.org, arkansasarrests.org, coloradoarrests.org, ctarrests.org, dcarrests.org, dewarrants.org, flarrests.org, georgiaarrests.org, govwarrantsearch.org, hawaiiarrests.org, idahoarrests.org, illinoisarrests.org, indianaarrests.org, iowaarrests.org, kansasarrests.org, kentuckyarrests.org, louisianaarrests.org, maarrests.org, mainearrests.org, marylandarrests.org, michiganarrests.org, minnesotaarrests.org, missouriarrests.org, montanaarrests.org, msarrests.org, ncarrests.org, ndarrests.org, nebraskaarrests.org, nharrests.org, njarrests.org, nmarrests.org, nyarrests.org, ohioarrests.org, oklahomaarrests.org, oregonarrest.org, pennsylvaniaarrests.org, riarrests.org, scarrests.org, sdarrests.org, tennesseearrests.org, texasarrests.org, uswarrants.org, utaharrests.org, virginiaarrests.org, vtarrests.org, washingtonarrests.org, wisconsinarrests.org, wvarrests.org, wyomingarrests.org, infotracer.com

What is the usrecords.net opt-out removal process?

The USRECORDS route is handled through Infotracer. When we loaded https://infotracer.com/optout on October 5, 2026, it redirected to the trailing-slash version, returned HTTP 200 and presented a bot challenge without observable form fields. The page is now information-only: email privacy@infotracer.com as the primary route, with a 45-day response window. A secondary members.infotracer.com/removeMyData route has a custom slide-to-verify check.

How long it takes

A 45-day window is stated for the primary privacy email response. That is a response window, not proof that a listing was removed or that every copy is suppressed. Keep the request and reply, then recheck USRECORDS and the covered domains. If a page remains after the stated window, reply to privacy@infotracer.com with the original request date, the exact listing URL and the domains still showing your information.

If it does not work

USRECORDS opt-out problems and fixes

The Infotracer opt-out page has no form

The infotracer.com/optout page is now information-only. When we loaded it on October 5, 2026, it showed a bot challenge and no observable fields. Use the primary privacy email with your USRECORDS listing URL instead of waiting for a form to appear.

The page shows "Verify you are human"

Use a normal browser without a VPN and complete the human check. Avoid repeated refreshes and allow the page's required scripts. The challenge controls access to the route; it does not establish that a request was submitted or accepted.

I sent the email but received no reply

Check the recipient is privacy@infotracer.com, save the sent message and wait through the stated 45-day window. If you follow up, include the original date, the USRECORDS listing URL and the name and location used to identify the record. Do not send a new request without preserving the first one.

I used the secondary member route and got a slider

The secondary route at members.infotracer.com/removeMyData uses a custom slide-to-verify check. Use a normal browser, complete the slider yourself and save any confirmation. Keep the primary email request as the clearest family-wide record.

USRECORDS is gone but a related arrests site still shows me

Recheck the exact domain against the coveredSites list and include it in your follow-up to privacy@infotracer.com. A request can be received without every page changing at the same time. Save the page URL and the date you observed it.

I want the underlying public record removed

The Infotracer family route addresses its own indexed copies. It does not change the government office, court, property or other source record described on the page. Ask the original record custodian about correction or sealing rules if the source record itself is wrong or restricted.

Subject: USRECORDS and Infotracer deletion and opt-out request

Hello, Under applicable state privacy laws, including the CCPA where it applies, I request that you delete or suppress the personal information associated with my USRECORDS and Infotracer listings and opt me out of the sale or sharing of my personal information. Name: [Full name] Email: [Email] Location: [City, State] Listing URL: [Listing URL] Please confirm by email when this request has been processed and identify any additional verification you need. Thank you.

After you opt out of USRECORDS

Keep the email, response and every listing URL you checked. A shared Infotracer family covers multiple domains, so revisit USRECORDS and the covered domains rather than checking only one page. Public records can be refreshed and a new index entry can appear. Set a periodic reminder for a later name-and-location search, and make a new request if a related domain or a refreshed page returns.

Realistic scope

This guide explains how to request the action USRECORDS publishes for its own site. Reading the guide or sending a request does not establish completed removal. Other sites and original public records are separate; recheck the specific usrecords.net page after the site's response and if the information appears again.

Common questions

USRECORDS opt-out FAQ

Is USRECORDS legitimate, and is it a government site?

USRECORDS is a private people-search site, not a government records office. Its own privacy material says its data comes from outside information sources and is not endorsed by a federal or state government. The opt-out route goes through Infotracer. Use the Infotracer domain and privacy address shown here, and keep your request evidence.

How do I remove my USRECORDS listing?

Use the Infotracer route at infotracer.com/optout for instructions, then email privacy@infotracer.com with your name, city and state and the USRECORDS listing URL. Email is the primary route with a stated 45-day response window.

Is USRECORDS a government records website?

No. USRECORDS is a private people-search service. Its privacy material says the site assembles information from outside sources and is not endorsed by the federal or state governments. A USRECORDS opt-out addresses the site's index, not the original public record.

How long does the USRECORDS opt-out take?

A 45-day window is stated for the primary privacy email response. Keep the sent request and any reply, then recheck USRECORDS and the related domains. The window is not proof that every page has changed.

Does one USRECORDS request remove me from other arrest-record sites?

The shared Infotracer route covers a 54-domain family with the related domains listed in this guide. Check those domains after receiving a response. Unrelated people-search companies are outside that family and need separate requests.

Why does Infotracer show a slide or human check instead of an opt-out form?

The route is protected by a bot check. A custom slide-to-verify step appears on the secondary member route, and the October 5, 2026 check found a bot challenge with no form fields on infotracer.com/optout. Use a normal browser without a VPN.

Does opting out remove the original court or property record?

No. The shared request concerns the copies indexed by USRECORDS and the listed Infotracer family. It does not change the source record held by a court, government office or other record custodian.

Review and change history

A content review or directory snapshot is reference history. A historical route observation does not establish submission, provider acceptance or removal, and does not establish a current working route. Current independent evidence has its own scope and expiry.

  1. · Guide content reviewed against the published sources. This is the recorded review baseline; no earlier editorial change log is available.

  2. · Historical route observation: bot challenge (HTTP 200). This describes only the page observed on that date; later steps and today's availability were not established by that observation.

Read current independent route evidence. That record reports its own scope, date, expiry and any gaps; this history does not renew verification.
