Guide content reviewed 2026-10-05
Reading current independent checks… See route evidence
PeopleLooker is owned by The Lifetime Value Company, the same parent company that owns BeenVerified. Opting out of one covers all of them. Search for your name on PeopleLooker, find your profile, and go to the opt-out page. Enter your name and city, click the profile you want to remove, enter your email, complete a security check, and click the verification link BeenVerified emails to you. Most removals take 1 to 4 days, though BeenVerified mentions up to 4 weeks worst case.

Work through this with your agent
Give your agent the published steps, sources and read-only tools. It should check the current official process and ask before taking action.

Check if you are listed on PeopleLooker
PeopleLooker does not expose a stable public search URL we can prefill, so find your listing directly: open peoplelooker.com, search your full name plus your state (and previous states), and copy the URL of the record that is you. The opt-out form usually asks for that URL or the same name and location.
What PeopleLooker typically shows
- Full name and current address
- Current and previous addresses with property details
- Phone numbers (landline and mobile)
- Age or date of birth
- Criminal records and court documents
- Relatives and family members
- Social media profiles and usernames
- Education and employment history
An exposure report can help organize candidate listings before you work through the site's official steps.
Remove yourself from PeopleLooker
8 steps. Use the official site in a normal browser and follow its current instructions if a human check fails.
- 01
Start a search on PeopleLooker
Go to peoplelooker.com and search for your first and last name, or your phone number. Note all profiles that match you, especially if multiple addresses appear. You'll need to remove each one.
- 02
Access the opt-out page
Look for a link in PeopleLooker's footer or main menu labeled "Opt Out", "Do Not Sell My Personal Information", or "Remove My Profile". This link redirects to the BeenVerified shared opt-out portal (the /svc/optout/search path).
- 03
Enter your name and location
On the opt-out search form, enter your first and last name, and the city or state where you lived or currently live. Click "Search" to find your profile. Repeat this step for each city you've lived in, as PeopleLooker may have separate profiles per address.
- 04
Select your profile
From the search results, click on the profile that matches you (or the profiles if there are multiple). The page shows name, current address, and sometimes age. Confirm it is the right profile before proceeding.
- 05
Confirm your email address
Enter an email address you control. BeenVerified will send a confirmation link to this address. Use an email you check regularly.
- 06
Complete the security verification
A "Verify you are human" challenge will appear (Cloudflare Turnstile or similar). Complete the check by clicking the box or following the on-screen instructions. If you see this check, you are likely using a regular browser, which is good; bot-prevention tools can take a moment to load.
- 07
Click the verification link in the email
Check your email (and spam folder) for a message from BeenVerified or PeopleLooker within a few minutes. The email contains a link you must click to confirm the opt-out. Click it and review the profile information on the confirmation page.
- 08
Verify the removal after a few days
Wait 1 to 4 days (BeenVerified quotes up to 4 weeks in worst cases), then search PeopleLooker again for your name and address. The profile should be gone or significantly reduced in data. If it is still there after a week, repeat the opt-out process for that profile.
What the PeopleLooker opt-out page looked like when we checked
When we loaded peoplelooker.com on October 5, 2026, it showed a "verify you are human" check before the form. Use a normal browser with VPN off; the form usually appears after the check.
This is a dated record of what our browser saw, not a removal. We never submit requests from this page.

What is PeopleLooker?
PeopleLooker is a people-search site owned by The Lifetime Value Company and powered by the BeenVerified network. It publishes profiles combining public records, such as court documents, property records, and vital records, along with social media links and employment history. PeopleLooker searches fast for names, phone numbers, addresses, or email addresses and reports criminal records, liens, bankruptcies, relatives, and education history.
You do not have to have created a profile on PeopleLooker to appear in it. The site buys data from public-records providers and other data brokers, so profiles can contain phone numbers and addresses you never gave to PeopleLooker directly.
What a PeopleLooker listing can show
- Full name and current address
- Current and previous addresses with property details
- Phone numbers (landline and mobile)
- Age or date of birth
- Criminal records and court documents
- Relatives and family members
- Social media profiles and usernames
- Education and employment history
Who runs PeopleLooker, and which sites one request covers
PeopleLooker is a brand of The Lifetime Value Company, headquartered in the United States. The same parent company operates BeenVerified, PeopleSmart, NeighborWho, Bumper, NumberGuru, FreePhoneTracer, OwnOnly, Reversephone, and MoneyBot5000. Opting out of PeopleLooker through the shared BeenVerified portal covers all of these brands, so you only need one removal request to handle all of them.
Same request also covers: beenverified.com, peoplesmart.com, neighborwho.com, bumper.com, numberguru.com, freephonetracer.com, ownerly.com, reversephone.com, moneybot5000.com
What is the peoplelooker.com opt-out removal process?
PeopleLooker's opt-out page redirects to the shared BeenVerified opt-out portal, which runs a search-then-verify flow. You enter your name and city, the system shows matching profiles, you click "That's the one" to select your profile, enter your email, complete a security verification (Cloudflare or similar), and then click the verification link in the email BeenVerified sends. When we checked on October 5, 2026, the page returned a Turnstile security challenge, which is a bot-detection tool that can block automation-based access but allows humans in normal browsers.
How long it takes
BeenVerified's official turnaround for removal requests is 1 to 4 days for most profiles, though the company notes that processing can take up to 4 weeks in some cases. Re-check your PeopleLooker profile 3 to 5 days after you verify the email. If the listing remains after a week, use the opt-out form again or contact BeenVerified support. Keep the confirmation email as proof of your request.
PeopleLooker opt-out problems and fixes
The verification email never arrived
Check your spam, promotions, and email filters. Resubmit the opt-out form with the same email address. If it still does not come within a few hours, contact BeenVerified support (the email is usually shown on the opt-out page). Ask them to process the removal manually.
The security verification will not load or times out
Cloudflare security checks can be slow on older connections or overloaded networks. Wait a few seconds for the check to load. If it is stuck, try the form in a different browser or device. VPN users may see additional verification steps; try disabling VPN for this step.
The profile still shows up after a week
BeenVerified may need more time, or multiple profiles may exist for you (one per address). Go back to the opt-out form, search again using different cities or addresses you've lived in, and repeat the removal for each profile that appears.
The opt-out page shows an error or redirects incorrectly
Try accessing the opt-out directly via the BeenVerified domain at beenverified.com/app/optout/search. If that page also fails to load, contact BeenVerified support. The /app/optout/search URL is the underlying form; PeopleLooker's link should redirect there.
Your profile reappeared weeks later
BeenVerified periodically buys new data and can rebuild profiles. Re-search PeopleLooker and run the opt-out again. Keep the original confirmation emails as records of your removal requests.
After you opt out of PeopleLooker
Save your email confirmation from BeenVerified. Since PeopleLooker is part of the BeenVerified family, one removal request covers all nine BeenVerified-owned brands (BeenVerified, PeopleSmart, NeighborWho, Bumper, NumberGuru, FreePhoneTracer, OwnOnly, Reversephone, MoneyBot5000). However, note that BeenVerified re-purchases public records and may rebuild profiles over time. Re-check every 2 to 3 months. Other people-search sites such as Spokeo, Whitepages, and ReversePhoneDetective are separate and need individual opt-out requests.
Who does what for PeopleLooker
The honest split, so nothing here reads as a promise we cannot keep.
What we handle
- Opening the official PeopleLooker form pre-filled with your scan details.
- Tracking the request status after you complete the step only you can do.
- Re-checking peoplelooker.com before anything is marked removed.
What you must do
- Complete the step PeopleLooker requires from you directly: a CAPTCHA, email confirmation.
- Open the confirmation email and click the link -- the request is not filed until you do.
- Pass the CAPTCHA or human check on the official site in a normal browser; follow that site's troubleshooting if it fails.
- Re-check peoplelooker.com after BeenVerified's official turnaround for removal requests is 1 to 4 days for most profiles, though the company notes that processing can take up to 4 weeks in some cases. Re-check your PeopleLooker profile 3 to 5 days after you verify the email. If the listing remains after a week, use the opt-out form again or contact BeenVerified support. Keep the confirmation email as proof of your request. and repeat the process if the listing returns.
Realistic scope
This guide removes this one PeopleLooker listing once you complete the step only you can do. It does not touch PeopleLooker's other data products, other brokers that buy data from PeopleLooker, or the public records the listing was built from -- those need their own opt-outs. Most people-search sites re-ingest data on their own schedule, so plan on re-checking peoplelooker.com every few months even after a successful removal.
My Privacy Agent opens the PeopleLooker form and tracks the outcome.
PeopleLooker requires a step only you can do (a CAPTCHA, email confirmation). After you authorize a mission, our agent opens the official form with your scan details, hands you that step, records the request as filed only when the site confirms it, and re-checks the listing before anything is called removed. If the site blocks the agent, you get the same instructions above instead of a fake status.
Current service availability and terms are listed on the pricing page. Nothing is marked removed before a provider or native action succeeds.
PeopleLooker opt-out FAQ
Is PeopleLooker legitimate, and is the BeenVerified opt-out safe?
Yes, PeopleLooker and BeenVerified are real services operated by The Lifetime Value Company, and the opt-out portal is the official, legitimate removal method. The form is free, and BeenVerified states it does not create an account or charge any fees. Do not pay third-party removal services; use the official BeenVerified opt-out portal.
How do I remove myself from PeopleLooker?
Search for your name on peoplelooker.com, find your profile, click the opt-out link (usually in the footer), enter your name and city on the BeenVerified portal, select your profile, provide your email, complete a security check, and verify the email link BeenVerified sends you. The whole process is free.
Does removing from PeopleLooker also remove you from BeenVerified?
Yes. PeopleLooker is owned by The Lifetime Value Company and shares the opt-out portal with BeenVerified and eight other brands (PeopleSmart, NeighborWho, Bumper, NumberGuru, FreePhoneTracer, OwnOnly, Reversephone, MoneyBot5000). One removal request covers all of them.
How long does PeopleLooker take to remove your profile?
BeenVerified states 1 to 4 days for most profiles, with a maximum of 4 weeks in some cases. Re-check your profile 3 to 5 days after verifying your email. If the profile is still visible after a week, use the opt-out form again.
Why does PeopleLooker have criminal records about you?
PeopleLooker publishes public court records, criminal histories, and other data from official public sources. This information is already public by law and is available from courthouses, arrest databases, and public records providers that PeopleLooker buys data from.
What if the verification email link doesn't work?
Email links from BeenVerified typically expire within 24 to 48 hours. If the link does not work, go back to the opt-out form on PeopleLooker or BeenVerified and submit your removal request again. A new verification link will be emailed to you.
Can you opt out of PeopleLooker without email verification?
No. Email verification is how BeenVerified confirms you own the email address on the profile and authorizes the removal. You must verify via the email link to complete the opt-out.
Does My Privacy Agent remove me from PeopleLooker automatically?
PeopleLooker requires a step only you can do (a CAPTCHA, email confirmation). After you authorize a mission, our agent opens the official form with your scan details, hands you that step, records the request as filed only when the site confirms it, and re-checks the listing before anything is called removed. If the site blocks the agent, you get the same instructions above instead of a fake status.

A content review or directory snapshot is reference history. A historical route observation does not establish submission, provider acceptance or removal, and does not establish a current working route. Current independent evidence has its own scope and expiry.
