1. Open the PeopleConnect Suppression Portal: Go to suppression.peopleconnect.us. This single portal handles suppression for ZabaSearch, Intelius, TruthFinder, InstantCheckmate, US Search and 21 other PeopleConnect sites. You do not need a ZabaSearch account; you use an email address instead.

2. Enter your email and consent: Type an email you control into the 'Email Address' field. Check the box that says you agree to the terms and consent to suppression. Click 'Continue'. No CAPTCHA is required. PeopleConnect sends a verification link to your email.

3. Open the verification email and click the link: Check your inbox and spam folder for an email from PeopleConnect. Click the verification link in the email within a few hours. The link brings you back to the portal and confirms you own the email address.

4. Search for your records by name and state: After verifying your email, enter your first name, last name, and the state where you currently live or have lived. PeopleConnect displays all records matching these criteria.

5. Select all the records that are you: Review the search results and check the boxes next to every record that is actually you. If you have lived in multiple states or have name variations, select all matching records. Unselected records will not be suppressed.

6. Submit the suppression: Click the 'Suppress' button. The portal displays a confirmation page and sends a confirmation email to your address. Save both as proof of your suppression request.

7. Wait 72 hours and re-check: After three days, search zabasearch.com, intelius.com and truthfinder.com for your name to verify the suppressed records are gone. If any records remain, log back into the portal and verify they were included in your suppression request.

8. Suppress additional records if needed: If you missed any records in your first suppression, log back into the portal and repeat steps 4 through 6 for the remaining records. You can submit multiple suppression requests.

Troubleshooting and cautions:

- The verification email never arrived: Check spam and promotions folders. Wait at least 10 minutes and resubmit your email to the portal. If the second attempt also fails, email priorityoptout@intelius.com with your name and ask them to send the verification link manually.

- I searched the portal and found no records for me: PeopleConnect may have no data on you, or a previous suppression may have already removed all records. You can confirm by searching zabasearch.com directly. If no profile appears there, the suppression is likely complete.

- Multiple records appeared and I am not sure which ones are me: Select records that match your current address or employment history. If you are uncertain, you can suppress all plausible records; PeopleConnect will not suppress a record it does not believe is yours. You can also email priorityoptout@intelius.com to ask which records should be suppressed.

- The suppression was confirmed but my ZabaSearch record is still visible: Suppressions take 3 to 5 days to propagate. Wait 72 hours and re-check. If the record is still live after a week, log back into the portal and verify the record was included in your suppression request. It may need to be suppressed again.

- My ZabaSearch record came back weeks after I suppressed it: PeopleConnect regularly ingests new public records and data, which can recreate suppressed records. Repeat the suppression process as needed. Keep all your suppression confirmation emails as records of your requests.

- I cannot remember which email I used to suppress my records: If you have the suppression confirmation email, it shows the email address used. If you cannot find it, go to suppression.peopleconnect.us and enter an email you believe you used. PeopleConnect can look up prior suppressions. If that fails, email priorityoptout@intelius.com with your name.

What is ZabaSearch?

ZabaSearch is a free people-search website owned by PeopleConnect Inc. It displays detailed personal information including addresses, phone numbers, age estimates, relatives and aliases. ZabaSearch does not have its own removal form; it shares a central suppression portal with other PeopleConnect brands including Intelius, TruthFinder, InstantCheckmate, and US Search.

You do not need to sign up or have any account with ZabaSearch to be listed on it. ZabaSearch pulls data from public records, property records, phonebooks, utility records, and data purchased or exchanged with other brokers. When you suppress a record in the PeopleConnect portal, that same record disappears from all PeopleConnect sites at once.

The zabasearch.com removal process uses the PeopleConnect Suppression Portal at suppression.peopleconnect.us, which is the same portal used by Intelius, TruthFinder, InstantCheckmate, US Search, and 21 other PeopleConnect brands. You enter your email and consent, receive a verification link, log back in to search for your records by name and state, select the ones that are you, and suppress them. When we checked the page on October 5, 2026 it required email and consent with no CAPTCHA on the login step.

My ZabaSearch record came back months after I suppressed it. Why?

PeopleConnect ingests new public records regularly, which can recreate suppressed profiles. Keep your suppression confirmation emails and repeat the process as needed. Re-check every 2 to 3 months and suppress any returned records.
